Why english has become a world language in the past a hundred years?

British colonialism and imperialism and Britain's previous status as a world power are the main reasons why English is spoken (at least as a second language) in India, Ireland, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Jamaica, and numerous other places, including the United States. As the current world power, the United States also plays a part; together with the US' superpower status, the popularity of American mass media such as music and movies has helped to turn English into an international language.

I don't think it's a bad thing. As least, more and more people could communicate with others without the language obstacles. English is just lucky and honorable to become such a media. In some sense, we should thank for the Britsh empire expansion.

Whistling softly in the dark
Is a better cure than anything
For a confused mind searching for an answer

Whistling loudly enough to drown out that little voice inside your head
Is a better way than any other
To prevent miscommunication of feelings

Whistling quickly for a dog
Is a necessary task
If you wish to be a best friend in return

And whistling a tune all your own
Is the only way
To survive this life in one piece

We might also find some reasons in the language itself. English, for after all, is a relative easy language to learn for the beginners. It has not too much odd grammar structures, nor too much recondite words. Apart from this, English also prides itself for its lyric rhythem. All these combine together along with other political and economic background factors have undoubtedly made English a welcomed world language.

It is always great to be at home!!!

偶的密码改了。改成连偶自己也不知道的密码。偶logout了。所以，从这天开始，这个ID就算是自封了。成为完全的过去式。很好。
两年前的某人的生日之日，偶决定停用这个号。到此时，其间有反复。两年后的又一个某人的生日之日，偶决定自封此号，这次可是想反复也不能够，甚好。
不是喜好。只是状态。想改变。
过去的仍然存在。如此而已。

某两人，看偶多喜欢你们啊^_^
