Graduate research/teaching assistant opportunities in Industrial Engineering at Texas Tech University

Research interests 1:        (System engineering and healthcare)
        Complex systems monitoring, modeling and control
        Biomedical informatics and computational cardiology
        Computer simulation and optimization
        Big data analytics for large-scale complex systems
        Quality engineering and applied statistics

For this position, the ideal student is strong in mathematical/numerical modeling, and will be able to creatively/independently think about new research studies. Coding and/or mathematics skills are strongly preferred. Outstanding TOEFL and GRE scores are plus. Students from all science or engineering majors, especially EECS, Mechanics and Math are encouraged to apply.

        Laser material processing
        Composite manufacturing
        Remanufacturing
        Traditional and nontraditional machining processes

For this position on manufacturing, we seek individuals with an earned Master (preferred) in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, material sciences or a closely related field. Manufacturing research background is highly desired. The successful candidates will lead research on additive manufacturing using laser technology or other closed advanced manufacturing area.
