CS Ph.D openings in text and Web mining

Ph.D. openings (Strong Master's applicants are also considered) with full financial support (RA assistantship + full tuition scholarship + health insurance benefit, around $30,000 per year) are available starting from Fall 2018 in the Dept of Computer Science and engineering at University of North Texas, working with Dr. Wei Jin (http://www.cse.unt.edu/~weijin/).

The areas are text and Web mining, information retrieval, and their various applications.

Motivated students with strong problem solving skills, solid computer science and math background as well as programming skills are encouraged to apply. Students with previous experience in data mining and machine learning are highly welcomed.
