I will study for my associated degree in Nursingat Houston Community College.

2)What is your major? In what aspect of your majorwill you study?
My major is nursing, which I have been doing thisfor almost ten years since 2011. I graduated from Nanyan medical college in2011, from now on, I still have only one associated degree which could not offerme a good job now.
After I graduate from Houston Community College, I will come back to UnitedFamily Hospital which is the best private hospital in China. It also providecare for foerigners and welcomes nurse who have studied abroad.

3) Are you going to studyin USA?

I will study for Nursing.First I study for the pre-nursing,and then nursing program. Then I will come back to Beijing United FamilyHospital

4) How long will you study in USA?
About 2-3 years. I had finished 26 out of 60credits of pre-nursing, so it will be less than 3 years.

5) Have you any scholarship?
No. But I have enough savings, (show themthe paper)and my parents and brother will sponsor me if I need. My parents havea small market in my hometown. And my brother works in Jingdong.

6)Have you ever been abroad before?

In 2012, Myex-husband studied in University of Houton as a PhD candicate, I came for himas F2 visa. During my stay in USA, his parents encouraged me to obstain adegree before we came back. So in 2014, I applied the F1 Visa for HoustonCommunity College studying pre- nursing program. But I didn’t notice theinformtion in the I-20, I arrived the USA two months earlier. My academic advisorencouraged me to change the status. In 2016, I decided to divorce, so I cancelmy classes. Then USCIS sent me a letter. Then I came back.

答：The first time I went to USA by F2 visa,there is no arriving limitation for F2. And I also I didn’t notice theinformation in I-20. My ex-husband was in USA, I wanted to be with him as soonas possible. So I came to USA too early. I didn’t notice this until semesterbegan.

8)为什么选择读专科而不是选择本科？

Nurses who have studied abroad in Chinesehospitals are very rare even in Beijing United Family Hospital. Studyingabroady will improve my personal competence and qualification.

9)为什么当初离婚后不选择立刻出国？

The divorce has hurt me a lot. I want to bewith my parents and family. But as time went by, I found out that I made amistake. After divorce, I tried to find a job, I realised how the importanteducation is especially when I was refused by several good hospitals. They werevery interested me, but when they knew I didn’t finish my study in HCC, theyrefused me and encouraged me to get it.

你这哪有十年呢， VO又不是数学不好， 你2011年到现在总共才10年， 你意思是当时当F2和当F1的四年也在practice nursing?
心急一点的VO直接这一点就可以拒了你， 因为你那四年根本就不允许有任何职业活动。

你这个解释太单薄了： 学历的作用只有刚毕业的new grad对于找工作的影响才是最大的， 你不是刚说完你都十年从业资格了吗， 这种经历不比任何破学位有用？
这样的解释又是很大的减分项。
你必须说的很具体， 学位不足到底是怎样阻碍了你进入什么样的岗位。 你讲的越笼统， VO自由发挥的空间就越大， 他们就越可以把事情向对你不利的方向去脑补。

你说去就去吗？ 这医院你家开的吗？
你不觉得中间太多logical connection缺失吗。

具体的学习内容一点都没有， 回国羁绊更是没有提到。 如果你有稍微准备一下F1你就知道， 你这个回答对于“留学必要性”和“回国羁绊”一点都没有提到， 基本就是一个无用回答。

你是从F1 change到什么？

整体回答上面你没有学会把重点放在“留学必要性”和“回国羁绊”， 你对于F1的准备非常不足。 你对于自己过去的历史也表达混乱。

As nursing program I will study conduct physical exams, take detailed health histories, listen to patients, and analyze their physical and emotional needs, and provide counseling and healthcare education to patients, stay current with advances in health care options, medications, and treatment plans

3.        Why do you want to go to US?
I would like to continue study to complete the degree. It will help me to get a position at international medical service department in hospitals. I have several years working experience and background of study abroad. Just because I didn’t complete the program. I lost a promotion from previous job and few opportunities to work at international medical service department.

4.        Are you going to study in US?
Yes, I would like to continue study for my associated degree majoring in nursing.

5.        How long will you study in US?
The program is three and half years.

6.        Have you had any scholarship?
No, I am self-spooned, my saving is enough for the program.
接着问，明显钱不够3年半的花销？
My program is 3.5 years, and I have already taken 26 credit hours out of 60. The rest will be finished in two years or less. My savings is enough. Plus, my family will sponsor me if necessary.

7.        Have you ever abroad before?
Yes, twice. The first time was F2 visa in 2012, and the second time was F1 visa in 2014.

8.        Why transfer F2 to F1 visa?
When the first time I go to US with my F2 visa, I realized how inconvenience for someone not good at English. I want to improve my English, so I transferred to F1 for ESL.

9.        Why you choose major in nursing?
-I graduated from nursing college in China. – whenever I see patient recovered from sufferings,  I feel very accomplished. -There are quite amount of foreigners live in China now.
They normally visit doctors at international medical service center in hospitals and those places pay higher for positions. （I want to work at those private hospitals, such as Beijing United Family Hospital.）
10.        Do you have any plan after you graduate?
I plan to work at international medical service center in China or private hospitals such as Beijing United Family Hospital.(需要补充)

11.        Why did you out of status for your F1 visa?
The first, F2 visa has no permissible entry date. After I transferred to F1 visa, I was thinking to go back to US reunion with my ex-husband as soon as possible. And I didn’t pay attention that the F1 visa has permissible entry date.

12.        Why you study the associated degree not the bachelor?
I had studied at Houston Community College before. So now I would like to continue my study and complete the program.

13.        Why didn’t you come back to US after you divorce?
At that time I was working at Amcare Women and Children Hospital. And  I was one of the candidate for job promotion which I desired. That’s why I didn’t come back to US immediately.

留学必要性： 关于为什么你的学位低， 或者缺失了美国留学经历导致你错失工作机会的内容， 你应该更加具体， 而且除了嘴上的表达， 最好也要有一些paper evidence。

我有点怀疑你change of status， 还没有有效F1身份的的时候竟然就可以上ESL和nursing的学分。 我对于移民法规不是很熟悉， 不过我总感觉这个有点问题。 建议你仔细跟学校确认一下。 我记得一般只能上non-credit的东西的。 鉴于你连within 1 month of start date这个我当时留学的时候所有人都知道的事情都能搞错， 我建议你还是double check一下这个fact， 不要太自信。 尤其跟学校要强调有没有credit course vs. non-credit course的区别。

常规F1的反正就照上面好好准备就行了。

至于你这个黑历史。
首先我跟你说实话： 你这种change of status拖了这么久最后拒掉了， 其实拒签概率挺高的。 所以你的准备务必要精益求精。

这个问题会是你绕不掉的问题， VO一定会提问， 你应该有尽可能simple, accurate, comprehensive的方法解释清楚。

I tried to study in US as F1 in 2014.
But I made a mistake and arrived too early.
As a result, I lost my F1 status and had to change of status with USCIS.
The change of status took 2 years and I got rejected in 2016. I came back to China immediately.

就用这样逻辑清晰的短句子解释清楚就行了。
离婚什么的暂时不要说了。 如果他继续问为什么reject， 然后你再说这个：
In 2016, I decided to divorce my then husband and return to China. Thus I cancelled all my courses and USCIS denied my change of status for that.

一次性说的东西太多， 一般人的英语水平和表达组织能力， 绝对会把VO绕进去。
VO听糊涂了， 直接就写下“两年COS失败”， 然后就给你拒了。
