I wanna kill myself!!!

I stayed up all night,cramming like a maniac for the damnned Physical Optics exam in this morning ,and guess what, I finally came up with the conclusion that under no circumstances could I pass it this time!
Shoot! My head is gonna explode and I can't even sleep because those coffees I had!
I must have been out of my mind when I chose the god-damnned Optical Electronic Engineering as my major two and half years ago! God, I didn't even know what it was at that time and I still have no idea about it now!
You know what, the most valuable thing I learned in my almost-three-year college life and for those tens of thousands of RMB tuition is that NEVER LEARN SOMETHING YOU DO NOT LIKE!
I would have done a wonderfu job in English Language or Economics or any other non-engineering major, but now I stuck in this stupid and so-called-promising field and can never see my future!

You still have the chance to reshedule your future. Since you said, 'I would have done a wonderfu job in English Language or Economics or any other non-engineering major.' How about appling for the second degree or graduated study? It's very difficult and toilsome, but it is worthy if you really like them.

Physical Optics is a pretty hard course. i learnt it in college. really no piece of cake.
very sorry for you.

i don't know if you're ok now, but i'm sure your english is very impressive, and maybe you can get a job in this area after graduation. who knows?

Sometimes we simply can't choose to do the things we enjoy because of various reasons, but what makes people successful is the self-control they possesses that impulses them to deal with the things they feel disgusting for whole-heartedly before they turn to the field they like.

It is something of responsibility. So before you endeavor a new area, do not ever try to give up the task you promised to take years ago. Accomplish the study of optics and keep your word. Not until then can you learn what a mature person with strong responsibility is.  

And try to look at your major's bright side. Be optimistics! :)
