Everyday we will meet a lot of things that we can not explain by ourselves. At this time, it becomes common for us to ask some people who seems to know everything, such as astrology, fortune-telling, psychic, and paranormal. They seem to play an increasingly vital role in our daily lives as the author had stated. Is it the real thing? In my view, they really play an more and more important role in our society but we should not only trust them and depend on them to decide our actions and doings. We should have our own opinions and our own principles.

In the first place, our society had developed increasingly rapidly. Thus, we will confront with a myriad of difficult and confusing things that we had never encountered before. And this must be a challenge for us all. Everyday, we will meet with a lot of things that we cannot explain now and these things are never met by our ancestors before, so they seems more tough for us to cope with. For instance, with the development of science and technology, a myriad of diseases have come out such as, AIDS, SARS and so forth. People who have these diseases will not know what to do and how to cope with them; even the doctors will have nothing to do in front of them. So the fortune-telling will come out and say:" I know who to deal with these diseases; because you had down something wrong in the past, you must do something right to evade the wrongs you had done in your past life..." Will you listen to them? Maybe, because you really do not know what to do to cope with this situation; thus, the nonmainstream science had the market for development.

Why will the mainstream science has the developing environment? It is mainly because we have a plethora of problems that we can not solve at present. This had shown that we are really inferior in our knowledge. Therefore, to solve these problems, we must enforce our science and technology. For example, if we can develop a method to treat the AIDS effectively and efficiently, will the patients still believe in the fortune-teller? It is hardly the case. If we can make out a macroscopic that can see clearly the solar system and the outer space, will people still believe in the astrology? It is hardly the truth. If we can solve the problems that are immersed in the deep heart of the patient, will they still believe in the psychic? It is hardly the reality. I believe these abnormal phenomena had happened solely because of our lack of knowledge and information about the society and the environment. Thus, I am for the sentiments that we should enforce our scientific knowledge and development to occupy the places of the pseudoscience. For example, there are a lot of cults in our society because of our innocence of the real science. These phenomena had existed since the ancient times. Even today, they still have their development scope. Can they really solve the problems? I can hardly believe in it. What they had done was just to soothe the anxiety and agitated heart, but they can never do anything that really mattered. Just as the example had shown that the fortune-teller can never heal a patient who is going to die and what he can do is just to calm down the fearful person and tell him that there is no fear to die and it is just a common matter for every person. And that is all.

Admittedly, we can see that the nonmainstream areas of inquiry can never solve any real problems except to calm a fearful heart. However, sometimes they really have some effect in the treatment of the disease. For example, a dying patient will probably live for another days if he had some vital spirit encouragement, such as, to wait for her sons and daughters. This is the force of feelings and loves. We must admit that the spirit enforcement is also paramount in our lives. For instance, a Rome athlete who had run the marathon game had died only after he had finished his running and said:" Rejoice, we conquered." This is the force of spirit. He had done his best for his country and his people. We must say that he had done a good or excellent job.

In summary, I believe that the nonmainstream areas of inquiry had played a vital role in our society but they are not the all of our society. The science and technology played a even more vital role than them in our society. We can never imagine a society that will develop only depending on the nonmainstream science. It is the mainstream science that facilitated our development and it is the mainstream science that brings us to far front of our society. Without the mainstream science, human will never make such a rapid development and maybe we all still live in the dark caves of the ancient times. So I, personally believe that it is the mainstream that really mattered in our society and the nonmainstream science is just the margin of our lives.

Since Valu-Mart has not seen impressive sales in its office-supply departments in the past, we should take advantage of this work-at-home trend by increasing at all Valu-Mart stores the stock of home office machines such as printers, small copy machines, paper shredders, and fax machines. We will also increase stock of office supplies such as paper, pens, and staplers. With these changes, our office-supply departments will become the most profitable component of our stores.'

The author had said that to increase the sales of the Valu-Mart, they should increase the home office machines such as printers, small copy machines, paper shredders, and fax machines because that there are over 70 percent of the respondents had said that they take more time to work in home than before. At first blush, it seems that this is really the truth but after a serious consideration. We can see that this is hardly the case and there are a myriad of flaws in the author's viewpoint.

Firstly, the respondent to the survey is not necessarily the overall person in the whole country and the respondent can not represent the whole country. Even if the survey is reliable, it can hardly say that this will apply to the whole country.

Secondly, the recent survey is not necessarily represented the tendency in the future. Maybe this survey was done in the past few months and this tendency will not necessarily last to the future.

Thirdly, the author had said that the Valu-Mart had not seen impressive sales in its office-supply departments in the past and thus, it will be appropriate to increase in the home office machines. I can never agree with this point. Maybe the fact that the Valu-Mart had not have a impressive sales is due to the low quality of their products and if this is the case, it can rarely make a big profit only depending on changing to another aspect. Maybe the customs had not recognized their products and the changing will not benefit the company but to increase the notorious of the company.

Fourthly, even if the above are all truth, he can never say that the company will make a big profit by increasing the home office machines. It is highly possible that the workers had brought home only some minor things to do and they have always finished the vital sections of their works. It is also possible that they will never need the machine at home and what they bring home was just the finished products and they are just to do some further research and some consideration. Thus, the increasing supply of home office machines will absolutely be a false decision. Nevertheless, the work office is the place that people really do their work, or the company will have no need to exist and people will need only to stay at home and do the work.

In conclusion, the concept of increasing the sales of the company by increasing the home office machines is flaw. To enforce their standpoint, they must provide me enough proves to convince me that the survey is reliable and effectively. They also have to ensure me that the low sales of office products were due to the consumers’ low quantity but not to their products' low quality. They must provide enough prove to illustrate that the workers who will work at home are the person who are surveyed. They must also provide enough supports that the workers who will work at home will also need the home office products to do their work. Without the above information, I can never agree with the speakers' sentiments.

We are living in the co-environment, that is, the earth. To live in this world, we will inevitable to meet a myriad of problems including the immediate, existing social problems and the long-term problems. To solve these problems is vital not only for us but also for our descendents. Some people posit that we should use these moneys in the immediate, existing social problems, while others hold that we should invest these moneys in the long-term research that will solve the long-effective problems. I, personally, believe that these moneys should be used wisely between the immediate, existing social problems and the long-term problems to benefit not only ourselves but also out future generations. These moneys should be allocated according to the current situations and circumstances. Thus, they should be allocated evenly between two fields.

Firstly, money used in the immediate, existing social problems is the needed money. As we all known, there are a myriad of problems in our society. For instance, the environment problems, the poverty problems, the low-income problems, the unemployment problems, the criminal problems, the juvenile problems, and so forth are all the problems we will meet. To cope with these problems, money is essential. Money spend in these aspects will benefit a plethora of people. For example, to solve the problems of underdevelopment, it is absolutely wise to invest some money to the low-income areas. The money spent in it will be used wisely. They can solve the immediate problems such as, the agriculture problems for the lack of money and the out-of -school problems for the lack of money. With even a little sum of money these problems can be dealt with successfully. As you know, a student only need 50$ to finish his one-year's study in primary school. This is a little amount of money. If we can invest in these areas, the students--our future generations will absolutely benefit from it and our society will also get result from it. This will benefit our society in the near future and in the long run.

On the other hand, money spend on the long-term problems is also important. As a normal person, we should not only think for ourselves but also for our future generations. Nevertheless, we are their ancestors. To benefit ourselves in the victimization of our future generations will absolutely be a folly. For example, the environment problem is a problem that we should put our emphasis on. If we neglect these problems, we will be the person who will get the result from it. This will not only influence our present living situations but will influence our future generations. For example, people in a village that depending on the forest to live in their lives had heard that to cultivate the corn will benefit them so they changed their cultivate method and cut down all the forests and put on a lot of corns hoping for the harvest in the following years. But to their surprise, they did not get a harvest instead they got the storm. All the corns had died and the peasants got nothing that year. This is a typical example of the environmental problems. People had gotten the punishment of the god. So to live in this world, we will have to live with the environment peaceful. Thus, the problems of solving the long-term problems become pivot. By doing the long-term problems research, we will not only benefit our present generations but also benefit our future generations. Therefore, the money spend in these areas will also be essential.

In summary, money is a good thing if it used wisely. To use it reasonably, we must differentiate the important and the minor. Money spend in the immediate, existing problems is useful as well as money spent in the long-term research. We should consider not only the present need but also our future generations' need. After all, the problems are for us to solve. So thinking carefully before action is an excellent advice. Money should be allocated in accordance to the real situations and allocated wisely between immediate, existing problems and the long-term research problems. Evenly allocation is a sensible direction.

The author of this article claimed that to raise the property values in Deerhaven Acres, they should adopt the restrictions on landscaping and housepainting in accordance to the increase of house value in the Brookville for their using this method. However, I must admit that there are several flaws in the author's position and the evidence is not reasonable and valid in this situation.

In the first place, the author had said that the survey was conducted in seven years ago, so the validity of the survey is doubtful and invalid. Maybe the situation had already changed after such a long time and the same method will never be adoptable in the new situation.

Secondly, the author had said that the value of Brookville property had increased after the restrictions had been put into forward. But there are little connection between these two things. Maybe the increase of the values in the property was not due to the restrictions but thanks to some other reasons. Nevertheless the intervention between the restrictions and the increase in the property values is too short. The restrictions will never have effect at such a short term. Furthermore, it is also probably that the restriction had not help to increase the property values but to decrease it because people will not like the same decorations of the environment. And maybe the property values of Brookville will be higher if they had not use this restriction. In this way, the author's evidence seems full of flaws.

Thirdly, the homeowners who had adopted the restrictions may not necessarily represent all the homeowners in the country. Even if their restrictions are effective in their environment, it will not necessarily effective in the whole country. Maybe they are just a small exception and the result will be no use then.

Fourthly, the author also said that the average property values of Brookville had tripled after the implement of the restrictions. But maybe other places that had not employed the restrictions had made an even greater increase. Therefore, without comparison, I can never believe in what the author had said.

Last but not least, even if the restrictions are effective in the Brookville. It will not necessarily effective in the Deerhaven Acres. Without the valid evidence that the situations of the two places are the same or at least comparisonable, the author can hardly convince me that the same restrictions will also effective in this place. It is highly possible that what is really effective to the Deerhaven Acres is not the restrictions but vice versa.

To sum up, to convince us that the restrictions will also be effective in the Deerhaven Acres, the author will have to do the following things. He must put out enough evidence to prove that the situations in seven years ago will be the same as now. The increase in the property values in Brookville is due to the adoption of the restrictions. The author will have to put out informations to illustrate that the situations between Brookville and Deerhaven Acres are the same. Before the author can do these things, nobody will believe in what he had said. The author must do these research to prove that what he said is valid.

When it comes to the research, the communication is an inevitable matter to discuss. Some posit that to develop a field, we must absorb the knowledge and experience of the outsider field. Some disagree with it. As far as this matter is concerned, I, personally, believe that we need absorb all the other fields' knowledge and experience to further develop our field.

Firstly, no field can fully develop without the communication with others. We are living in the multiple-culture society, thus, communication is inevitable. To get the first hand knowledge and experience, any field must communicate and learn from others to fulfill its own knowledge and experience. For example, in the agriculture aspect, the peasants can never make a big profit now without the lately-knowledge about cultivation and fertilization. The way to get these knowledge and experience is to communicate with his companies and the persons in the same field. But to get a fascinating result, they must not only communicate with the persons in the same field but also must communicate with the persons in the different fields, such as, the scientists in the biology, the scientists in the mechanics and so forth. These persons can facilitate them with the newly-developed knowledge which is essential for them to make a big profit.

As we all know, our society is a developing and fulfilling society. Thus, a myriad of interdisciplinary major had mushroomed. For instance, biomedicine, biotechnology, bioengineer, and so forth are the mixtures of a plethora of subjects. Without the communication and the inter-learning, the rapid development of the science becomes almost impossible. For example, the computer science knowledge can be used in the science, biology and other fields. They can facilitate the development of these fields. Computer can also be used in the industry respects and raise the productivity and efficiency. Thus, we can see the importance of multi-communications.

Furthermore, the new knowledge and experience brought by the outsiders can also give the insiders some inspirations and stimulations. For example, the computer knowledge is used in the astrology. They can make the detection of the universe easy and incise. The biology knowledge used in the science and technology can make human's development rapidly; such as, the bat's flight knowledge discovered by the biology scientists can be used in the aeronautics and make the plane safer and save. A plethora of plant's knowledge can help people to cultivate the new kind of plants and make our life easy and nutritious. We can make out the trans-gene corns which have a great production. This will help to improve our life quantity.

Moreover, outsiders can give us some advice and instructions which will never be found by ourselves. If a field is going on only in its own method, it can never make any rapid improvement for its short sight and drawbacks. This is like a person who can never find his own dregs unless he was warned by others. In this sense, the outsiders are like good friends who will speak out our shortcomings and dregs and at the same time, give us some useful advice and instructions. For example, the knowledge of physics was a good example of this. At first, people believe that the matter was made of molecule and Newton's macroscopic physics was believed to be the never-wrong ethics. But with the discovery of atom in the chemistry field, this can never be true now and people begin to think that atom was the minus component of the matter. After this, negative and positive electrons were discovered and this knowledge was innovated another time. But now people believe that it is the "string" that composed the universe and the microscopic physics had been developed. At this time the Einstein's relative time and place theory become a popular theory. From this, we can see that people's knowledge about the society and human is a never-end developing spiral. So we should never be satisfied by the present knowledge and experience. People should remember that there is no end in the sea of the knowledge and we must go on and on.

If the outsiders can bring the knowledge and experience to the insiders, two fields will be benefited and this is a double-win strategy because the two sides can learn from each other and develop together. For example, the biology and the medicine are two field that develop together and they learn from each other and make progress together. The knowledge of biology, such as the gene and colon, can be used in the treatment of a plethora of disease that can never be treated before. At the same time, the discovery of the new disease, such as AIDS and SARS, can give the biology new challenge and they will research the new virus and thus, get a further development. In the last century, the discovery of penicillin was a good example of the mutual help.

In summary, if a field wants to develop rapidly and significantly, it must absorbs the knowledge and experience of the outsiders. This is a never-changing principal. I strongly support the author's sentiments.

'Doctors have long suspected that secondary infections may keep some patients from healing quickly after severe muscle strain. This hypothesis has now been proved by preliminary results of a study of two groups of patients. The first group of patients, all being treated for muscle injuries by Dr. Newland, a doctor who specializes in sports medicine, took antibiotics regularly throughout their treatment. Their recuperation time was, on average, 40 percent quicker than typically expected. Patients in the second group, all being treated by Dr. Alton, a general physician, were given sugar pills, although the patients believed they were taking antibiotics. Their average recuperation time was not significantly reduced. Therefore, all patients who are diagnosed with muscle strain would be well advised to take antibiotics as part of their treatment.'

The author had held the position that the patients who had the muscle strain should take antibiotics as part of their treatment. He gets this position for the following reasons: (1) Two group of patients who had muscle injuries were treated by different doctors and one group used antibiotics as a supplement treatment and the other do not. (2) The results of the two groups are different so the author gets the conclusion that the antibiotics will help to treat the patients. But after the careful considerations, I found that there are a myriad of mistakes in the author's viewpoint which make the conclusions neither reliable nor effective.

Firstly, the author had not say that the research was under the same conditions. Because the patients was treated by different doctors at the diverse places and it is possible that the conditions of research are not the same. If the first group was in a relatively excellent conditions and the second group was in the poor treatment conditions, the result will become doubtful. The author had not stated that the patients that get the treatment are the same or at least at the disease level. It is possible that the first group was in a relatively minor disease conditions for their concern about their own disease and they go to see the doctor early; and the second in the relatively severe disease conditions because of their negligence about their diseases.

Secondly, the doctors that provide the treatment are not the same. The first group was treated by the specialist in sports and second group was treated by the general physician. Thus, it is highly possible that the first group will get a relatively all-around and good treatment than the second group because they are treated by a specialist in sports and he knows how to treat these diseases. In this way, the first group may get some other treatment which will no doubt affect the treatment results.

Thirdly, the number of patients who get the treatment is another problem and whether the patients who are treated can represent the whole group is another problem. The author had not given the definitions of typically expectation and significance of treatment. Different patients will get the different conclusions on their own feelings. It is highly possible the first group are relative dull than the second group. Then, the result will become doubtful. Without these definitions, the results can not be measured principally and the result will become invalid.

The author must provide enough evidence to illustrate that the patients get the conclusion on their own feeling and was not miss-directed by their doctors, that is, they must get the conclusion on their own feelings and not on the doctor's direction.

In conclusion, to strengthen the points of the author, he must at least do the following things. First, he must prove that the research was done at the same conditions and the patients are comparable. Secondly, the doctors who had given the treatment to the patients must be the same or at least have the equal knowledge of treatment. Thirdly, the number of patients must be big enough to make the conclusion and research reliable and the patients must represent all the patients in the whole. The author must also provide the definition of the cure results before he can talk about the effectiveness of the treatment. Without these indications, the author can never get his results. Fourthly, the patients must not be lured by the doctors, and thus, get the conclusions that the doctors want. Last, the other treatment the patients get must be the same and will not interrupt the conclusions that the doctor will get.

Our society needs peace and safety so the law becomes essential for a healthy society. As the author had said that there are two kinds of laws: just and unjust. Some people hold that we should obey the just laws and at the same time, to disobey the unjust laws. But in my opinions, this is hardly the case. Admittedly we should obey the just laws, yet we should not disobey and resist the unjust laws.

Firstly, the just laws are the essence of our society so it becomes nature for us to obey it not only for the benefit of ourselves but also for the benefit of our society and others. For example, with the obeying of our just laws, everyone will have a principle for their actions. Thus, the society will become peaceful and safely.

Admittedly, there are a myriad of laws which are unjust. Yet, I can hardly agree that we should disobey and resist them for the following reasons. Law is regulated after the endeavor of a lot of people, and thus, it always reflects the hope and need of most people. Even if it is not reasonable and rational in the present, we should never counteract it by disobeying and resisting it because these actions can do nothing helpful for the society but to make the society increasingly chaotic. For example, the law of tax is not reasonable at present. If all of us do not obey it and do not give the taxes, our society will become a tedious and fussy society and we will never make any progress for the lack of money for the development of our society. At this situation, what we should is to give some advice to the government and inform them that the law is unfair and need to be adjusted. That is enough and the manipulators will know what to do next; in this way, our society will get the improvement and at the same time, will not become a mess.

Another example is the environmental law. It is well known that our environment is deteriorating day after day. Even though the government had given some laws to regulate the deteriorations but the result is minor. Thus, it becomes vital to make some renovation about it. Can we get the ideal result by destroy all the industry in our country and corrupt all the cars on the road? Certainly not! Thus, it becomes paramount for us to change the situations by legal methods. If we do not change it in the legal way, perhaps nobody will benefit from the corruption and the disaster will never improve the environmental situation but to make more loss.

Yet, we must admit that there are some illegal ways which are in use in our society such as, territory and self-suicide actions. It is benefit? Nobody will assume that. What territory brought to us is the endless fear and the endless poverty for the innocent poor people and nations. Of course, the terrorist had become the hated fellows for us all. We also must do some legal things to change this that is, to catch the territory fellows and send them to the just legal court.

If all of us do not obey the laws which we think are unjust, the society will undoubtedly become a mess and our society will never make any progress. Furthermore, in a plethora of situations, what we think unjust are always just because we have different opinions and positions in the same scenario. Thus, the measurement for just and unjust becomes another problem. If we have no common sense, the method to deal with the situations will become a problem.

In summary, every society has the just laws and the unjust laws. How to cope with them is a matter which needs to be considered carefully. As far as I am concerned, it is absolutely right for us to obey and maintain the just laws. At the same time, it is also our obligations to inform the government about the unjust laws and put forward some ideas for the government but we should never disobey and resist the unjust laws in the unjust ways because this will only make the situations worse than before.

He posits his viewpoints by the following reasons: The survey showed that the most important feature in the computer game was the lifelike graphics. The Whirlwind has introduced several such games. They also make a myriad of advertisement about it. At the first blush, the point seems perfect but on the second thought, we will find that the sentiments are full of flaws and drawbacks.

Firstly, the sales of Whirlwind video games have declined over the past two years. Without the changing of main situations, the tendency will possibly continue. The author posits his position according to the survey; but in my opinion, the validity of the survey is doubtful. The people who answer the questions are not necessarily the people who will play the games all the time.

Secondly, just as the author had said that the players hold the lifelike graphics as the most important features that the game must have. To realize this feature the most up-to-date computers are the must. Of course, the most up-to-date computer will cost a myriad of money. The author had said that the person who play the game are the 10 to 25 groups which have no economic income and thus, less likely to afford the computer. Then, the advertisement will be a warn for the parents and they will pay attention to the computer of their home; some will not renovate the computer which is highly demanded for the play of the game and thus, the advertisement will not benefit but impede the development of the games. The company will not get any benefit from the advertisement.

In summary, to perfect the point of the author, he must provide enough proof to illustrate that the declined situations will never go on in the following years. The survey must be valid in the present. Furthermore people who answer the questions must be able to represent all the people in the country. The author also have to provide support that the 10 to 25 years old people is the consumer group of the game and they can afford to buy the most up-to-date computer which is needed for the game to play. The author also must provide the proof that the advertisement that was conducted by the Whirlwind will be looked by the consumer group instead of other groups. The author must also provide proof to testify that the advertisement will helpful for the sales of the game instead of impede it.

Everybody hopes to be the great person. How to define the greatness becomes an important thing. Some people hold that the importance can be defined by the contemporaries but others posit that the greatness can only be defined by those who live after them. As far as this matter is concerned, personally, I believe that the greatness can be judged by both their contemporaries and their descendents. The judgment depends on the situation.

Firstly, the achievement of a person can be defined by his contemporaries because a myriad of achievement can be recognized by their contemporaries. In most situations, people can discern the right and the wrong. Because of this differentiating ability, people can always make a good judgment. For example, the Microsoft Company's CEO, Bill Gates is a great man and no one will doubt about this matter. He brought the convenient internet to us and facilitated our lives. We will always be grateful to him. This kind of examples can be found not only in the economic fields but can be found in a plethora of other scope. For instance, in the universe detective regions, the land on the earth will always be the pride of humankind, no matter what had happened, it will always be remembered. In the agricultural industry, the improvement of the cultivating method had benefited us all and we will never doubt about its usefulness. In the biology technology respects, the discovery of penicillin had cured many patients with the infection and nobody will think that the discovery is not worthwhile. Einstein was a great physicist. He had discovered the relative theory of time and space. Even though his theory was deep and complicated, people will know that one day, it will be proved and thus, we admire and appreciate for what he had done for us. Beethoven was another example; at his time, he was deeply loved by his fans and people give him high praise for his great symphonies.

Admittedly, there are a lot of greatness can be decided by the contemporary society. Yet, there are still a lot of great achievements which can never be judged or even be recognized by the contemporaries. Sometimes the great individuals were treated unfairly. Some even are killed by the authorities. For example, we all know that Copernicus had discovered that the sun was the center of the universe and the long-hold earth-centered theory was wrong. But at his time, nobody would believe in him and the people were controlled by the church. Thus, Copernicus was burned to death by the church. But the truth is the truth; nobody can disguise the truth forever. At last, we all know that Copernicus was right and his courage and bravery will always be memorized by us all. In the mid-century England, Shakespeare was a writer of theater. At his age, on one appreciated what he had written but now, we all sing highly of his accomplishments because the time is the best touchstone for the truth and the real great achievements. After the long time disputes, the greatness of an individual will always be found.

In summary, the greatness of individuals will always be found either in his living times or after it. Whether it can be recognized by his contemporaries is a matter that depends on the different situations. But one thing is sure that is, the gold will always shine out.

Clearly, the decline in fish populations in Tria's waters is the result of overfishing, not pollution. Therefore, the best way to restore Tria's fish populations and to protect all of Tria's marine wildlife is to abandon our regulations and adopt those of Omni.'

The author contained that the best way to protect the wildlife in the Tria and to restore its fish populations is to abandon the current policy and adopt those of Omni. The conclusions were based on the following evidences. (1) Tria had banned the dumping and offshore oil drilling within 20 miles of Tria but fishing is not banned. The result is that the fish populations in Tria's waters are still declining. (2) Omni also regulated the ban of dumping and offshore oil drilling within 10 miles and at the same time, it also banned fishing. The result is that no significant decline in its fish populations. Thus, the author got the conclusion that to protect the wildlife in Tria, they must abandon their present law and adopt the regulations of Omni. At the first glance, it seems logical and sound but after a careful consideration, it can hardly hold the water.

Firstly, Tria had banned the dumping and offshore oil drilling. The author wants to abandon these regulations forever. In my view, it is absolutely wrong. It is highly possible that the regulations have the results. Maybe the decline of fish populations was due to the insufficient execution of the regulations. Omni may have also benefit from this ban. At this situation, the abandon of the regulations will become absolutely wrong.

Secondly, The ban of fishing maybe have effect but it is not likely to be the only reason for the no significant decline in fish populations in the Omni.

Thirdly, Omni had no significant decline in its fish populations. The definition of decline is obscure and thus, we can not know whether the decline is greater than Tria's or not. Without the clear define of the significant, we can never get the conclusions.

Fourthly, the author had not provided the proof to testimony that the situations in the Tria and the situations in the Omni are the same. It is highly possible that the pollution in the Tria are more severe than that of Omni and therefore, the ban of dumping and oil drilling in the Tria will become the most important thing for the protection of the environment.

Last but not least, it is highly possible that the basic situations of Tria and Omni are not equal. It is possible that the pollutions in the Tria were worse than Omni before and without the basic equality, it is hardly to compare two places. It is highly possible that the situations of Tria had improved than before and it is because the relatively unsound situations before that had affected the present situations. In this case, if the Tria implore the method of Omni, it may make the environment worse than now.

In summary, to make the author's statement sound and reasonable, a myriad of survey must be done. Firstly, the author must prove that the ban of dumping and offshore oil drilling at least, have nothing to do with the situation in the fish populations or even make the situations worse. The ban of fishing is really effective in Omni and it is the ban of fishing but not others reasons that had made the fish populations increased. The author also must provide enough support to illustrate that the situations in Omni and Tria are the same. Without the above proofs, I can hardly assume the author's sentiments.
