OMG I've been reading it for 6 hours. Took a online quiz and only got 6/10

Following a microarray experiment performed on cells grown in control medium or medium containing growth factors, differences were detected in the abundance of a number of mRNAs. 55 genes were upregulated rapidly by 15-fold and then expression fell off later, while 34 others were upregulated only 3-fold, but in a slower manner. On the other hand, 23 genes were decreased in expression by 15-fold rapidly, and then were highly expressed again later. All this is reproducible even after multiple experiments. What is the significance of these values and expression patterns?

a.        The tendencies in the way the genes behave in terms of gene expression genes may reflect related function   
b.        That genes get expressed and repressed concomitantly and their expression must be linked to a common transcription factor

这个的确是最难的部分
我到现在为止都没有搞清楚DNA跟RNA的各种各样的立体结构以及生理作用
