Congratulations!
I am writing this mail to let you know that you have been recommended
for admission to Master of Architecture program at Texas A&M University,
Department of Architecture.
The official letters, one from the College and the other from the
University will be sent to you.
This letter also contains a fax sheet that we would like you to send
back with your intention of acceptance to the admission offer. There is
a specified date for this fax, though I would appreciate it if you can
let me know before the specified date of your intention by e-mail, as
the space will begin to fill up.

I am personally excited about the possibility of you joining our
program.
I will be trying to get some kind of financial support, either in the
form of one-time scholarship at the point of your enrollment to our
program or an assistantship for you.
This will be taking place in the next couple of weeks or so, and I will
let you know as soon as we find out.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

900~1100USD/month
可是我申请的其他大学现在都没有消息。

我怎么样回复比较好的呢？

Stanford是Admissions Committee的Chair今天早上发来的信，居然周末都在干活呵呵

Harvard是上周DEAS的两个教授打的电话，说下周Admissions Committee才开会，但unle

很诡异的是，当时小米管我要TSE，我说没考，可不可以用interview代替，她坚定地说no！然后我就再也没抱啥希望了，实在没想到竟然有offer -_-!!

2月9日上网查询IIT的申请状态，发现给了admission，2月17日收到IIT的电子邮件，声明给我Dean's Fellowship  covers one-half of the full-time graduate tuition with a maximum of nine credit hours per semester, which amounts to $6,543 for the academic year.

一个很差的学校toledo给我用email通知offer，但是在信中提到：
If you accept this offer to pursue a doctoral program of study in the Materials, Mechanics and Design focus area of the department of Mechanical, Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering, please E-mail me or fax me your acceptance by the deadline set in the offer letter.  Also please verify your mailing address as shown in the offer letter.   这个deadline不知道是不是信中所写的4.17

大家再看信中附件（offer letter的一个 pdf文件）一段：

XXX@eng.toledo.edu and XXX@eng.toledo.edu will hold your assistantship until the signed letter arrives. This offer will remain open until April 17, 2006.

是要我给个回复过去，才帮我把offer保留吗，但是信中指的是我如果接受啊，那么这样4.15前可以不要这么offer吗？？  还是如果我现在不回信过去表示肯定，offer就不会寄过来。但是如果写信过去表示接受，是不是以后就不能接受别的offer了。

这是系里program director发的，然后抄送给了我陶瓷的教授，教授砍了 给我发信说：

You signup and fax the letter to Prof. XXX as soon as possible.

我怕这一签后，俺就不能接受别的offer了， 这个学校给我附件里头CGS resolution(就是一个关于4。15的东东)，里头写着这个学校在4.15里头！

到底我签字后寄回去后，能否还接受别的offer啊？？

结果还是平信寄来的,一直以为能用个啥快递呢,信封还破了一大块.

简单说说背景:

广院的BA,英国的MA.

GT都还算高,G是早年考的, T是去年考的. GPA应该不高那种,估计比有些人都低.

目前工作着, 英文媒体,已经工作了一年半了.

有过电话面试,以前发过了.

基本就会去那里了...因为UPENN估计也没啥戏,,,其他的学校估计也没有NEWHOUSE给的奖学金多.

可是心里也有些不安, 在中国很多事情都已经SETTLE DOWN了,,,但是又抛下所有一切又上路,,,也不知道会是啥前途...
