自己从网上查出uc,irvine的状态是AD后，心里有点失落，它是我自认为有较大把握拿OFFER的，于是，赶紧去查maryland，结果显示我所有的材料都没到，吓坏了，赶紧call。
在我报出姓名之后，秘书问是不是来自xx university?我说是，他说，“Your material  complete and you're given the admission. It will send to you at the end of this month."(大意)
正准备问有没有financial aid时，他挂了。
唉，如果又是一个AD，我就要与亲爱的Uof Maryland说再见了！

下午给每个学校都发信问了下，晚上就收到OFFER和REJ。
UTK小秘说他们数学今年只招5个人，有130份材料。
PS：OFFER是tution plus $15,000是不是学费不用交再给15，000啊，这个在chicago 够用吗？

WM得综合排名全美一般都是30多，化学系很小，没有排名
不知道这里有没有对WM很熟悉得，希望指教一二，特别是化学和应用科学系。

自从前几天收到了UCSD历史系的拒信之后，心情一直不好。可是今天收到了来自UPENN历史系的AIR MAIL,告诉了我的AD和fellowship.非常高兴的同时也清楚地认识到美国各个学校录取政策的不同，被排名低的学校拒也不一定意味着被名校据。因为自己的弱点非常清楚，普通的GPA还有考的很烂的GRE的AW，如果UPENN重视，我肯定不会被录取。希望大家尽快得到offer.

关于我的申请背景，我想等全部的结果出来，然后加以分析之后再拿出来和将来要申请历史系的朋友们分享。我的弱点还有强项都比较清楚，在选的学校和自己的研究方向都非常符合的情况下，在这里可能能看出每个学校对于申请者的注重点的不同。这样可能对大家的帮助会更大一些。

       如果是Graduate School的话只有RA/TA的机会了,RA/TA都有Tuition Waiver吗?

I did not have "niu" recommendation letters.
Also, I think they do not care about the T/G score because mine are too low.
I have some research experience (composites; block copolymers).
I feel that they pay attention to the applicants' research experience.

However, I just know I am denied by UT-Austin (chemical engineering). I feel so down because I like hot weather.

两天前收到PURDUE 的REJECTION,人生的第一个REJECTION,冰冷冷的就俩句话：你被DENIED了，其实之前已经知道中国有人被录了，自己没消息应该没希望了，可是此学校也太不友好了，其实此学校在OUTLYING AREA,叫我去的话也要好好考虑考虑阿！
    今天在垃圾邮箱里捞到的University of Georgia的AD，如下
Congratulations! You have been recommended for admission to the Graduate School of The University of Georgia.
The Office of Graduate Admissions cannot proceed with the final acceptance, however, because your file is incomplete.  Please send the following information to complete your application.一段话说少寄了学位证，FINANCIAL DOCUMENT Please contact your department if you require financial assistance.

  可惜只是AD,而且寄完材料后还要过Graduate School这一关，只能算半个AD呢。UG是我的DREAM SCHOOL,要是给我OFFER的话肯定去。
  不知道下一步是不是开始套教授？因为Please contact your department if you require financial assistance.还是套小米？
