:confused:今天在做真题的时候遇到了一点问题，小妹语法基础较差，请各位高手帮忙解答一下，不甚感激，谢谢！
5. Protein digestion begins in the stomach ____ends in the small intestine.
(A) while
(B) and
(C) how
(D) because
为什么不能选while呢？不是I like play football while Tom likes play tennis.这样也对的吗？
14.The primary source of energy for tropical cyclones is the latent heat released when ____
(A) does water vapor condense
(B) condensed water vapor
(C) water vapor condenses
(D) the condensation of water vapor
是不是从句后都使用陈述语气的才对是吗？（我知道这个问题很笨，但是我的语法基础比较差，麻烦大家解答以下，谢谢）

请问为什么D错了呢？

perfect不是已经是最高级了吗？加most竟然还对吗？

5 因为如果用while从句就没有主语了所以用and
14 只是个语序的问题所以用water vapor condenses
24 我觉得c错啊~~三个并列的短语~~
40 D 错~~主谓一致 perfect不是最高级吧....

5.b 没有对比关系吧
14.b 凝聚态的水蒸发？？
24.c provide换成名词
40.d appear变成过去时

5.B begin & end 使顺承关系，while作连词时是转折conj.也就是虽然尽管之意，此举显然不对
14.C  when后面是时间状语一个完整句子正常语序，只有C合适。
24.C  并列结构，provide-->provision
40.D  appeared    perfect是原形，多音节词，加most
