AFA-CWA Optimistic Despite Court's Decision to Abrogate Northwest Flight Attendants Contract

WASHINGTON, June 29 /PRNewswire/ -- A federal bankruptcy judge today granted Northwest Airlines the right to abrogate the contract of their over 9,300 flight attendants. However, the court instituted a 14-day stay on the decision so that both parties can continue to negotiate. If no agreement is reached, the company can impose only those terms and conditions listed in the tentative agreement that failed last month. In addition, the court stated that "all concerned would be well-served if the flight attendants and the Debtors could resolve their disputes through continued negotiation ... the Court is therefore requiring the parties to make one last effort to reach a ratifiable agreement."

Had a few spells of abstinence...Been to AA a number of times.. been on SR a few times.. both of whom have helped me a lot

Ive got anxiety/depression issues and seeing a therapist to try and sort that out.
Drinking made me confident, but always a vicous cycle as the day after a binge I would be anxious about things I may or may not have done when out of it. Blackouts everytime I drunk.

A suicide note left behind by a goldsmith says the deadly cyanide tastes acrid and burns the tongue?

Perhaps this is the first-ever real-life account of a person tasting cyanide. No one who had got the real state ever lived to tell the tale.

Here too the victim is gone but he had caught a few fleeting moments before his first accidental taste and final gulp when he penned his findings.

Jiuxu antibiotic sends woman into coma

A Hangzhou woman fell into a coma for 30 hours after injected with an antibiotic produced by Zhejiang Jiuxu Pharmaceutical Co, Oriental Morning Post reported today.

The woman, surnamed Chen, went to a clinic because of a toothache on July 31. The doctor prescribed a clindamycin phosphate injection to Chen, but several minutes after Chen received the injection, she went into shock and fell into a coma.

The drug hasn't been found to bring any adverse reactions to other patients in Hangzhou and is still in use.
