Some one wrote this pm to me:
Paper
> 万分感谢!
1 For your future life plan, I can hardly help you. Staying in China or fighting in US... different options will lead to different way of life. So you are the only person that can make your own decision. Phd will cost you longer time, but it will surely form you a firm basic researching background. If you wait a few years in China and try the post_doc in US. That is ok too. The former way is longer and cost more time and energy, but generally, it will help you gain further opportunity for the next competitive job hunting. The later one is easier and you can gain money almost immediately, while in the long term, you might “stay”in that position for longer time.
2 If you want to learn PhD of medicine in US, that is impossible. Americans have their MD document for the medical field. But if you mean you are thinking about gaining a MD in US here. You might spend longer time (you have to pass the entrance test, then apply the medical college, then cost 3~5 years for your MD__ that is beyond your Chinese education , surely!) Then you can try the USMLE step 1 / 2 and CK. Then with that scores and your visa( J1 H1, & Green card prefered) you can try to “sell yourself” to some hospital_generally, we call that progress as “matching” After that, you can training yourself as a residence in hospital for 3 years. That will be 3 years of “24- hours_on_call” crazy life. If you would be feed up with that 3 years of hell like life. You can stop there and got your licens as a “General doctor” (we call that as in China). If you are still alive, you can try further more. That will be 4 years of “fellowship” training. And after that, you will be a specialist.
3Generally speaking, 全奖 can afford your daily life (if only you are not a club-fan). But for MD, there is no 全奖 for a foreigner. And the cost for MD is one of the most expensive degree in US. Even for the Americans, only those rich person can afford that. But if you mean you will go on as PhD, that is ok, you can live well here with your 全奖.
4 Again, there is no PhD course for clinic medicine. But for those PhD training referring “med_”, like medical biology, bioscience, public health, nursing... etc, the courses options are variety. You have to find the department in detail, and check the program in detail.
5 en, the ability of “self-learning” and “self-searching” is the most important element for a researcher__including PhD application.
Ps:
the reason why I did not reply your pm is simply because your question is “不着边际”. I really don't know how to explain that in short. Since you persist to post me the same questions in new pm once and once again, I would be glad to introduce some basic information to you.
Next time, I prefer “wiser”questions.
Good luck! |
