本人东南大学毕业一年，自费读ms in IE at SUNY-BUFFALO，毕业一年在一家美国非营利组织干活~

13号一早从昆明到成都，住下后开始成都一日游，猛吃了一天，到晚上一边啃兔头，一边哐哐灌下啤酒，又看看电视，很快便安心入睡~

14号9：30到馆（约的10点），排队，到11点多才进去，把表和我的简历一起递给小秘，没想到刚坐下一会儿哈里就喊我了，正在聊天，都没反应过来（在我先进去的都还没上呢），站起茫然看哈里，“我？” 哈里茫然看我一眼，我四顾，确定是我，赶紧大SMILE，抱资料上~

vo: so, which univ? (一页一页看我的简历）
me: suny-buffalo, my major is IE, my spicified field of study will be production systems engineering, focusing on (打断）
vo: what is ur undergraduate major?(一页一页看我的简历）
me: information management system, in the department of management science and engineering. u know, IE is one of the aspects of management science and engineering. During my undergraduate study, i've already had intense interest in (打断）
vo: who will support your study in US?(一页一页看我的简历）
me: my parents will.
vo: what are their jobs?
me: my father is a well known artist in China, he is blablabla. i've prepared these documents...(刚刚把一沓材料举起来，打断）
vo: just tell me his annual income.
me: 310,000 rmb. and my mother is a professor, teaching chemistry at Kunming Medical College. Her annual income is about 43,000 rmb. my parents' total annual income is about 353,000 rmb.
vo: 353,000 rmb per year.
me: yes, so, u see, according to my i-20 form(21,860 usd per year), money is not a problem in my case!
vo: emm... do u have any work experience?

me: yap! after graduate from SEU, i've kept on working for CARE-Venture International, an American NGO, at Kunming. My duties are maintaining our organization's website and planning and organizing projects. My latest project is 2007雪碧我型我秀, cooperating with Kunming Coke Cola. I am one of the project managers. it's a national project, if u watch TV at home, u may know this activity...
vo: what's this project about?
me: it's a national singing competition.
vo: does singing competition has something to do with CARE?
me: acctually, this project is part of a Youth Training Project. We train college students in student union, teaching them how to work on these big projects and developing their overall capabilities......
(哈里转身继续打字)
me: u see, i'am quite good at doing such jobs. I was the student union minister during my undergraduate study, and as early as 2004, i started my own business.....
(哈里撕条，微笑看我）
vo: u can get ur visa this afternoon at 4:00.
me: oh, thank u!! (刚转身要跑，回眸一笑）have a good day!!

我辛辛苦苦准备的各种财产、资金的证明、文件、合同，还有房产证，还抱了我爸的一大堆画册、作品拍卖册...居然什么都没看，一共准备了5袋材料，全没要。我觉得我的制胜法宝就是我精心准备的简历。简历第一页赫然写了我"rank during undergraduate study: top 3 of 32 people"，然后列出了我4年得的各种奖项，然后第二页写了我的work experiences 和 research experiences，然后后面附了10来张我的奖状复印件。整个简历捏在手上就挺厚实的，从头到尾哈里都在看我那简历，看得很仔细，一页一页看...

所以我建议后来签的兄弟姐妹可以在自己的简历上多下点功夫，有奖状的统统附上。就像gter有老帖曾经说过，老美都知道没几个中国留学生没有移民倾向的，如果你充分体现自己的长处，告诉他“我是人才”，什么资金问题、归国计划只要还凑合，他都不会多为难你。

另外自信确实太重要了。刚刚到的时候有点紧张，看到n多f1死掉，后来慢慢就好了，特别进去厅里，反而开始兴奋起来。整个交谈过程中，我就靠在窗口那台子上，很自然，对答也很如流。
之前有个mm我们在后面看她就感觉她很紧张，到vo面前呈现立正状，说话也打结了。还有一本科的哥们儿vo问他你回来打算在哪工作时，他居然说一愣然后说美国xx银行，vo说这个银行明明只有美国有，然后就死掉~

大厅里赫然有一个电子显示屏上面说的一个签证要点就是“要让vo感觉你不在撒谎”~

14号自费f1就过了2个（还亲眼看到一个牛校全奖本科死掉），我和另外一个本科哥们儿。我们感觉死掉的大体原因如下：
1、学费特别高而且家庭年收入相对学费不宽松
2、过于紧张不自信
