University School of Medicine has met and discussed your application for entrance into our PhD graduate
program. Congratulations! It is my pleasure to inform you that the Committee has accepted your
application for the Fall of 2007. You will be receiving official notice from the Boston University after your
application has been processed by the University Admissions Committee.
In order to insure that you receive your official acceptance letter and other important correspondence,
please email me with an address where you can receive courier mail such as Federal Express and DHL. A
post office box is not sufficient.
If you accept our offer you will receive full stipend support in the amount of $30,000/year. There is no
teaching requirement here so you will be able to devote your time to your studies and research. All course
fees and tuition are also covered, so this stipend represents your living allowance. The stipend is increased
to $31,000 upon successful completion of the qualifying exam for the PhD degree, which is normally taken
at the end of the second year. For students requiring assistance, it is also possible to apply for a $2000
relocation award from the department, to be paid in October of 2008.
The Department also pays for health insurance, which allows you to use the medical clinics located at the
Medical School and on the Charles River Campus.
We hope that you will join us in building this new and exciting Department. We now have 22 Faculty
covering many diverse areas of Molecular Physiology and Structural Biophysics. Our programs are
tailored to the individual needs of each student and it is our goal to help each student excel during their
graduate career.
Please let us know of your decision, as soon as possible, but no later than April 15, as we are trying to fill
the 5 available slots as quickly as possible. We currently have ~40 Graduate Students in the Department.

附带一下背景：
生物小本，学校非牛，GPA85.4%，G1440+4.5， T110口语24，SUB考得不很好但那个系强烈推荐，所以我记得我送了，BIOCHEM85%（生化87%，细胞71%，分子89%）
研究经历有不少（生化，微生物，分子），论文EI一作一篇（IF只有大概1），核心一作一篇，非核心二作一篇。小牛推荐（哈弗博后，但文章感觉似乎不很强）。毕设是生物物理方向的。国内高校交流生一年。

大年三十收到fellowship（EE University of Arizona）


刚刚打开email，发现UA的formal graduate fellowship，能在大年三十收到offer，感谢主待我不薄。我刚刚抱了我妈妈：）
心里还是挺平静的，不过关于如何回复这个offer，想请高手看看，谢谢！！

报第一个AD，也是第一个有消息的学校。CS怎么都这么晚。 University of Georgia  CS MS
但是郁闷的是这个学校要求IBT口语必须20分以上，申的时候没注意到。我口语只有18分。好在这个学校还比较厚道，没直接给刷下去。所以算conditional的AD吧。说可以等我新的成绩。没办法，已经报了三月份的，只能再考一次了。所以血的教训啊，申美国，口语一定要20分以上阿。另外，给系里小米写了信问奖学金的事，说已经在waiting list上了，不知道有没有运气。
本人背景一般，BUAA CS 本科，gpa:82, GT都很烂。G1200+4.5  T90。不过有两年多外企工作经验。
希望其他学校也顺利。也祝各位都顺利拿到OFFER。过个好年。
