一大早收到UIUC寄来的包裹，里面的信上说有departmental assistantship，一年$40000。开始以为是fellowship，可是后来信上又说必须做TA或RA，工资ms是系里付，税照交。以前认为TA或RA必须自己去套，现在居然来了个系里包分配的，相当诡异。不过无论如何，总算是来了个offer，心里踏实多了。

今天早上随便查 UPenn，本来也没有指望什么,因为材料才没交出去多久（一个星期) , GRE成绩也还没有寄到. 没想看到了 University of Pennsylvania 的 SEAS 录取。专业是 Systems Engineering, 是School of Engineering and Applied Science 和 Wharton School 合办的项目. 有点类似Columbia 的 Operation Research 专业，不过名字不一样。 很感激老天给的这个春节红包

早上收到研院的email offer，UC Santa Cruz的ECE，学校排名很一般，不过地方还好。可是奖学金是TA＋RA＋Fellowship，这是什么意思啊？我第一学期又要做RA又要做TA？那岂不累死了，有人有过类似的经验吗？感觉UC系列真的没什么钱啊，去掉26000的学费，剩下的还cover不了全部呢。
