People should not pay for the public transportation. Do you agree or disagree?

As the cities grow larger and larger, public transportation is playing an even more significant role in the city life. In the biggest cities of China, it is already not unusual for someone to pay one or two hours on the bus or subway every day just in order to go to work! Now, it is suggested that people should pay no fee for such transportation, and I regard it as a good idea.

The first reason this argument earns my support is that it will encourage people to use the public transportation more often. In a metropolitan, a fast moving vehicle is of great necessity, but if too many people choose to use private cars and so on, the traffic situation and the environment will deteriorate quickly. As a matter of fact, the traffic jam/ congestion is already a persisting problem for dozens of cities. So if the public transportation becomes free of charge, more people will turn to it, and the automobiles on the streets can be expected to decrease dramatically, which will be good for the traffic situation and the air.

Another advantage of a free policy is that it will help poor people a lot. In many cities, the tickets for the bus and subway cost 1 yuan and 3 yuan each, so it means 8 yuan a day for many people. This seems a small amount, but it aggregates nearly 200 hundreds a month, which is a considerable part of the revenue of a person with low level incoming. So it is obvious that such people will surely applaud for such decision about transportation.

In fact, a handful of most developed cities in this country have advanced on this direction. Beijing, the capital of China, has adopted a new policy that a person who uses a special electronic card can spends only 0.4 yuan for bus service and if they are students, 0.2 yuan. This presents a big leap, and I hope it could go still further, anyhow, the budget of plenty of cities can cover the cost of publican transportation easily, and a reform like this will benefit the resident a lot.

So to sum up, I sincerely hope that people could be entitled to a free public transportation as soon as possible.

第二段：第二段和第一段比很失败……你这个例子本身没有问题，但是你仔细想一下：到底是什么促使人们使用私家车？是因为现在的公共交通系统花费高么？显然不是。当然，如果你用这个作文论据也不算错，但是像这种论证能力比较弱的论据还是放在后几段比较好。
第三段：这么鲜明的论据和强力的论点，一定要放在第二段。例子还是要扩充一下，加入一些你周围朋友的例子。不要只是举出数字。
第四段：这个段落是整篇文章中的败笔，题目问你是否同意免费的公共交通系统……你把 北京写进来为了证明什么？纯粹的浪费字数。另外，如果你这样改一下，就能使你这个段子成为亮点：“保持原来段落不变，吧最后一段合并进去。另外，加入北京这种低价的公共交通系统所带来的影响（从两第二段和第三段两方面写）”。这样这一段就成为一个非常有力的结尾段。使你文章增色不少。

Undoubtedly, everyone on the earth relies on food, clothes, house, and so forth to be living, therefore, money is needed. How would people usually do to earn the money? They work! Money seems to be a basic and important element to consider when people are searching or choosing a job. However, there are many other factors that are of equal or more significance for people to work, among which interest and responsibility are especially common.



First, interest in a field has huge strength to push people working hard and enjoy a life in work. This is especially true in science field. As we may have known, it is not so easy to earn so much money to do scientific research as to do business or to be a lawyer, but still, millions of people around the world are devoting their lives on scientific study. Why? Their interest in their working field may be the best explanation. Jingrun Chen, a famous math scientist in China, tended to forget everything else when calculating a math equation, even including eating. During his entire life, he is poor. But I guess he did not at all care about it. The only reason for him to keep working is because he had strong interest in proving a theory or solving significant math problems. It is interest that guide people to get into certain field and earn a satisfaction in working.



Second, strong responsibility for family, nation, or even the world forces many people to work. There are always a lot of work that are poor-paid, difficult, and even dangerous, for example, to be a soldier, but there is never a time that nobody went to be a soldier. Someone may argue that it is because those who became soldiers need money to live. But there are always so many kinds of occupations that they can choose from, why they finally chose to be soldiers anyway? I think one Chinese song perfectly described the soldiers' thinking: If nobody came to be soldiers, how our family and nation will be protected? Their sense of responsibility for the nation leads to their choice to become honored soldiers who are living in extremely hard conditions and far away from their family and hometown. Our respect should be given to those people who work not only for themselves, but for the benefit of other people or the whole human being.



To sum up, people work not only for money, but for many other things they consider important too. What differ human from normal animals is that people consider far more than survival when they are doing stuff. Just because of so, we are enjoying a peaceful world and flourishing society.

With the rapid development of our society, our pace of life have became more and more  
faster. The lesisure time is so precious for us. But how to spend it? Some choose to work on  job, while others prefer to be with their family. In my opinion, to be with family is my  
penchant.

In the first place, spending leisure time in being with family can enhance the communication of  family members. In the mordern modern big city, family members may live together but work in really  faraway  parts of the city. It is not easy for them to meet at in the  daytime. After working hours,  if all return with exhausted bodies, they can share something that has happenned in the day and  have a nice chat. On the contrary, there are some couples in metropolitans who demonstrate  unfortunate cases. For example, in Shenzhen some young couples meet only once for a week, and their emotion  
become worse after a period of time. Then , they break up. It is common in that city of  China, because everyone is struggling for more money and success.

Furthermore, spending more time on our family can add more fun to our life and make us relax. As to our personal health, our body need some exercises and relaxation. For example, many office  men and women would use leisure time to bring their family members to go to the park. The whole  family may have a picnic, play baminton, and walk aroud the lake. Imagine when they are  embraced by the beautiful view and so close to the nature, they can smell the grass and  flowers, hear the singing of the birds, feel the tender breeze on their face. What a life!

Undoubtedly, spending more time in working on job will definitely improve our ability to get  promotion or something. However, in the long run, we should consider our health condition and  our goal of life. Personally, I think all the efforts on job are for our family to be more  happier. It is indeed worthy to spare the leisure time for our family.
