The moderator will post two passages to recite every weekend, participants should try to memorize the passage and write it from heart in the following 7 days after the passages are posted. First 3 participants will be rewarded 5 GTB.

The goal of recitation is to improve your oral English by making more opportunities to practice pronunciation. The moderator will post the audio recording files of the same passages on the next week. Everyone who record their recitation will be rewarded the grand prize of 100 GTB. (How well you recite is not a consideration factor in your eligibility for the prize.) 这段自白出自真人实事改编的电影，自白者原本是一个帮表哥倒卖白粉的不良少年。在升学率很低的中学打篮球混日子，根本不考虑自己的未来，校长教师亦对他们放任。同是黑人，教练Carter却很明白这群孩子如此以往将面临的命运。作为区区的篮球教练，Carter没有改革学校的手腕，没有春风化雨的能力，能做的只有利用教练与球员签署的协议约束他们。自白的这个孩子曾经几度退出Carter的球队，挽回他的是表哥的意外死亡。亲眼见到枪击的惨案那一刻，才明白自己选择的是怎样幽暗卑贱与凄惨的命运，开始遵照协议努力学习。这段自白是在法院宣判协议无效，球员们却自发遵守协议的时候，作为对Carter的感谢词说的。

曾经作为法律的违背者，做着各种无法见人的事情却毫不在意的少年，如今通过篮球找到自己的价值，并把这份价值与社会的衡量准则贯通，亲手博取光明未来。说出的话充满着希望，不可思议，然而唾手可得的希望。无论多读几次，总是令人振奋。
