今天上午收到HKU MCL的拒信，早已料到 = =
下午又收到他们的EMAIL（因为我还申了CFL），内容如下
I am writing in connection with your application for admission to the master degree programme at HKU to inform you that the Admissions Committee is interested in your application. Unfortunately, you have failed to satisfy the University minimum English language requirement. As such, the Admissions Committee advised you to re-take the IELTS ASAP in order for us to further consider your application.  The required standard is an overall band 7.0 or above with no subtest lower than 6.5.

Please let me if you will consider the above advice and let me know when the next test date. Otherwise, the Admissions Committee will not further consider your application.

这封信是否意味着，只要我雅思成绩达标，他们就一定录我呢？而且他们也没说我应该在哪个日期前重考雅思。

我同学用中介申请，也收到类似的邮件。
中介跟他说港大会在5月份再录一批，只要赶在那之前把成绩达到并且寄过去还是有希望的。
所以楼主不要太担心~好好重考雅思吧~

我觉得就算你成绩到了也不一定会录你，因为我的托福成绩够了，还被MCL这个项目放在了等待席上。这封邮件的意思我觉得是如果你不考雅思就直接拒掉你，如果考还可能继续把你的材料留着等待下一步审查。因为这封信除了说你语言不够并没有说你被放上了等待席。

LLM(CFL) - your application is still under consideration

You are welcomed to check with us by end of April again.
