The absence of choice is a circumstance that is very, very rare.

Hungry? A hamburger or a piece of bread is easy to get, just choice the one you like. Tired? You can and may prefer to watch TV or walk out... Every time you want to change, you make a choice, in that way you have been shaping your life in your own style and including into the colorful world. On the practical views, I would like to share the point that it is very rare where lacks of choice.

Obviously, the occasions in which we have no choice is existent during our lives. We can not choose our date of birth, whether it is win or failure of the civil war, to be it black or white of the color of the moon, and the like, arbitrarily according to our minds. They are all unchangeable because they have happened or beyond our ability. Optimistically speaking, it isn't necessary to live our lives by changing the past or by getting what we do not deserve. "Where there is a way, there is a will", as the essay suggested, if you want to attain some goals, you can make your determination and get them by unremitting striving, by doing so you will find non-optional occasions become fewer and fewer.  

Fortunately, more occasions occur in which we can decide what we do and how to do basing on our minds. We have different clothes chose to dress, variable channels tuned to your favorite TV programs, all kinds of fishes bought home for cooking. If you like, you can even choice your sex as the science and technology developing, which is actually enlarging the scope of choices. Some primary no-choice occasions can also be changed into selectable ones by a series of struggles. For example, you can buy a bony car after some year's financial storage if you can't afford it now.

Even though, we should cherish our opportunities to make choices and transform them into our bricks to build our ways to our aims. All successful men catch their opportunities and make their choices seriously which terminate leading them to success. Bill Gates, the richest man in the world nowadays, made his choice to give up the schooling in Harvard and to develop his own Microsoft corporate when he foresaw after comprehensive discussion with his friends that a big market of personal computers would be established in the future. History convinces us that choice can lead people to better lives with honors or some other things they want when they make it following the natural and societal regulations. Washington, the first present of US, decided to abort slavery following the history tide and chose the masses supported his to forge his army and finally won his honor.

In conclusion, choice can be made in almost every circumstance where we can judge and control ourselves. It is choice that paves our roads to the lives we eager, so carefully contemplate it before make it.

comorain 说choice必须是有两个或多个选项之间，同时“选择民族、性别、自然规律”等分别对应determination和violate过程，而不是choose。absence of choice对应没有选择权等讲。

我觉得这些都很有道理，不过习作在先，有些地方确实有悖定义，一时也没有好的想法，先贴上来再说。恳请各位给出个比较妥当的写作方案，批评一下鄙人拙作……
