In the passage, scientists ever criticizes(criticize) the giant-impact theory about the formation of the Moon from three aspects. However, in the lecture, the professor deems this criticism is actually unconvincing by providing the following evidence.

First of all, in the passage, scientists questioned the theory for if the Earth had been collided hard enough, the powerful impact would leave a huge mark on the surface. However, no trace of the impact has been ever found. The professor cites it is true that we have not found the trace. But he thinks that the collision happend nearly 4 million years ago, and the trace might be erased by nature. For example, the rock places of the Earth might struck each other and change the map of the planet. So it is probably that there ever existed a collision trace, which casts doubt on the first argument of the passage.

Also, the professor mentions that the hight(high) temperature caused by the giant impact may evaporate the volatile substances like water in the Moon rock. So he makes this forceful evidence to question the second argument of the passage that the rocks on the Earth and the Moon are different.

Thirdly, the passage uses the evidence that the density of the Moon is much lower than that of the Earth to cast doubt on the theory. However, the professor cites that it is a sensible theory because the Moon came from the surface of the Earth, not the core. So it does not make sense to make a comparison between the density of the Moon and the Earth. Therefore, the professors manages(manage) to weaken the untrust in the theory mentioned in the passage.

So, according to the three evidence(facts) the professor provides as strong points to contrdict the criticism in the theory of the passage, he believes that it is a convincing theory based on scientific data.

总评:这是第二次评小狗的文章,没有模板的修饰,小狗的文章还是那么的华丽,但是还是要注意动词单复数。

Therefore, the professors manages to weaken the untrust in the theory mentioned in the passage.6 w+ \/ M* C8 e7 W; w

Letting a friend make a mistake is better than saying or doing something that may destroythe friendship

1 every individual has his or her own personal space, which should not be disturbed by others, even if the most intimate friends. In this manner, people are not supposed to try to prevent their friends from making mistakes at the cost of the breakdown of friendship.

2 even if our friends make mistakes, it might not a bad thing because through the mistakes, they can learn more or even start to attempt a new method with full initiative, which is beneficial to their success.

All the splendor in the world is not worth a good friend", the voice of Voltaire can best describe the importance of friends. However, here comes a question that whether people have the responsibility to check friends from making mistakes, even if they have to bear the distress of friendship breakdown. In my opinion, I deem letting a friend make a mistake is better than saying or doing sth that may destroy the friendship. My reasons are as follows.

First of all, every individual has his or her own personal space and make decisions on their own, which should not be disturbed by others, even if the most intimate friends. In this manner, people are not supposed to try all means to prevent their friends from making mistakes at the cost of the breakdown of friendship.Take me for example. I am a very independent girl and always divide my life into two parts-private one and social one. I enjoy the accompaniment of friends and luckily, I own a couple of close friends. But meanwhile, I tend to protect my private life from the intrusion of them. When they try to persuade me not to do this thing or that thing, I will seriously tell them that it is my own business and even if I will taste bitter fruits of my mistakes, never would I regret my choice. So even the closest friends should wisely leave sufficient space to each other and then the friendship will last forever. Therefore, I deem it is sensible to even let a friend make a mistake rather than to be beyond the border of friends and then destroy friendship.

Also, even if our friends make mistakes, it might not a bad thing because through the mistakes, they can learn more or even start to attempt a new method with full initiative, which is beneficial to their success. Individuals may encounter the bankruptcy of business, but they acquire a chance to learn valuable lessons and experiences which are significant contributors to the future success. A girl may be jilted by her boyfriend miserably. However, she accordingly has a deeper and clearer understanding of love and probably believe strongly that the most suitable man will be waiting for her. Scientists are common to make mistakes during their research. Nevertheless, maybe it is these mistakes and frustrations that build up their unyielding and persistent spirits. What is better, they can be inspired by these mistakes and open a new "door" in the given realm. So do not fear that our friends would be hurt badly by mistakes, because these mistakes can present them unexpectedly surprising gifts.

To sum up, given that people should not interfere the life of friends too much and usually, mistakes can serve to make our friends learn more experiences and even be creative to get a new access to success, I am convinced that letting a friend make a mistake is better than trying to stop them and pay the expense of destroying friendship.

这个指出错误和干涉他人隐私好像还有些区别吧

Also, even if our friends make mistakes, it might not a bad thing because through the mistakes, they can learn more or even start to attempt a new method with full initiative, which is beneficial to their success. 我觉得第一个理由还是有些站不住脚,这个毕竟让人听见朋友在向错误不管不是很说的通。其他写的还挺好的。还有尽量避免语法错误

The professor disagrees with the passage's assertion that the Tunguska explosion was not caused by an asteroid, but  the result of a swamp gas. He provides three reasons to disprove the passage's arguments as follows.

Fist of all, the fact that neither fragments nor impact craters have been found in Tunguska after the explosion does not necessarily mean that no trace had been left. The professor claims that it is 19 years after the Tunguska explosion that scientists arrived there to search evidence. It is possible that traces caused by the explosion had been erased by the forth of nature. In contrast, scientists found abundant fragments produced by the meteoric explosion over Canada, for they timely got there just 2 weeks after the explosion. So the professor weakens the first argument of the passage effectively.

Also, the absense of the crater evidence is reasonable and explainable. It is possible that when the asteroid came into the earth, it could explode in a lower atmosphere before hitting the ground. So under the high heat and pressure, it is not surprising that no craters were ever left for the asteroid had no impact with the surface of the earth. So the professor deems it can be explained about the absence of craters and then confute the passage forcefully.

Finally, the passage mentions that methane gas is the cause of the Tunguska explosion. However, the pofessor questions this point by claiming that the explosion would not have taken place in a confined site if swamp gas leads to the explosion. In addition, the fact that traces of the Tunguska explosion have a single epicenter of destruction reminds that  the asteroid theory about the origin of this explosion is more convincing.

To sum up, the professor mentions three reasons to cast doubt on the arguments of the passage.

The professor disagrees with the passage's assertion that the Tunguska explosion was not caused by an asteroid, but  the result of a swamp gas. He provides three reasons to disprove the passage's arguments as follows. 很简洁清楚的开头。

First of all, the fact that neither fragments nor impact craters have been found in Tunguska after the explosion does not necessarily mean that no trace had been left. (可以直指最终论点,即the explosion were not caused but the impact of an asteroid) The professor claims that it is 19 years after the Tunguska explosion that scientists arrived there to search evidence. It is possible that traces caused by the explosion had been erased by the forth of nature. In contrast, scientists found abundant fragments produced by the meteoric explosion over Canada, for they timely got there just 2 weeks after the explosion. Also, the absense of the crater evidence is reasonable and explainable. To sum up, the professor mentions three reasons to cast doubt on the arguments of the passage.  这个结尾段其实可以不要的,呵呵,也无所谓。

写的很好,大点和细节都听到了,epicenter我没听出来。
字数似乎有点超了,如果超得比较多,第一点canada的那个细节就可以不写了。

Do you agree or disagree:As modern life become more complex, it is essential for young people to have the ability to plan and organize

Hardly could we deny that our lives are becoming more complicated now, even if advanced technologies ever bring us much ease and convenience. So I agree with the assertion that it is essential for the youth to learn to plan and organize in response to this issue. My reasons are as follows.

First of all, making a careful and detailed plan is advocated for the simple reason that young people can handle a spate of issues more smoothly and then may lighten the heavy burden on should with high efficiency. Take me for example. Now I work for a business company, and at the same time, I am prepared for the IBT examination, trying to make a further study in America. So every since every morning I open my eyes, a myriad of issues are waiting for me: preparing related data for today's meeting and negotiation,  signing contracts with customs, reviewing the exam, sparing time to accompany parents, enjoying personal entertainment time. All these things occupy most of my 24 hours a day. I need to well respond to them and the importance of a careful plan is manifest. I can use a well-organized plan to get rid of trifling stuff, or end unnecessary disturbance due to my temporary ideas. So only by putting all things in good order can I deal with all them with full initiative and enthusiasm, which prevents me from falling into a passive position.

Also, a lot of uncertain and unexpected factors exist in the complex modern life. So it is no wonder that we must cope with them timely and effectively; a deliberate plan or organization seems more critical in this sense. In the face of emergencies, we have to keep calm and start brainstorm for feasible methods. In this manner, the magnitude of being creative is always clear. However, solving problems cannot live without a careful plan about how to apply our creative ideas into practice. That is to say, it is necessary for us to make sure the feasibility of our opinions and the detailed steps necessary for the application, all of which should be contained in a plan. For example, when I am focusing on my IBT examination, unexpectedly, I am informed that I need to take a business trip for a negotiation. In order to shorten my trip for the imminent exam, I come up with several innovative and appealing points to increase the ratio of success in the negotiation. However, what is more important, I need well organize them, expecting to reach the optimum effect in attracting customers. So even if we encounter urgent or challenging issues, a deliberate plan is a powerful guarantee for resolving problems.

To sum up, given that making a plan means high efficiency and then is conductive for us cope with a large amount of issues more smoothly, and in the face of emergencies, a careful plan is needed to resolve problems, I am convinced that we young people should plan and organize as the modern life is more complex.

写的很好,句子用通,用词也灵活,两个点也清楚。
不过两点重点plan和organize没有明确的区分开来写,也没有特别强调young people, 只在首尾有点到。

The professor totally disagrees with the statements made in the reading that scientists cast several doubts on the practice of prescribed burning. He provides several reasons to disprove the passage as follows.

First of all, the author contends that prescribed burning of prairie is harmful to the environment  and contributing to global warming for releasing a lot of smoke. However, the professor argues that the benefits of prescribed fire are manifest. It can turn leaves, branches and other stuffs which pile up on the ground of the forest into mineral -rich ash, releasing nutrients. Also, the prescribed fire can thin the  forest to let sufficient sunlight penetrate so that sunlight is conductive to the growth of seeds and roots. What is more important, prescribed fire reduces the occurrance of wildfire. So the professor use evidence above to refute the first argument of the passage.

Also, the professor believes that the prescribed buring is safe, which is operated by specialists. They will discreetly decide when and where to stat  prescrible buring. The professor completely denies the view of the passage that prescribed fire can be unpredictable and dangerous with too many uncertain factors.

Finally, the professor argues that the cost of a  wildfire would be 10 times more than that of a prescribed fire, not to mention the damage of houses and families. So the criticism from the passage towards the high expense of prescribed fire is forcefully weakened.

Do you agree or disagree: Most people prefer others making decision for them than making a decision for themselves.

Hardly could we deny we make decisions every day, ranging from critical things such as determining the future career to trivial stuffs like which food we should have for supper. However, here comes a more detailed question whether we prefer others making decisions for us to making one for ourselves. As far I am concerned, I deem in most cases, we prefer to make decisions on our own. My reasons are as follows.

First of all, we have the ability to make decisions for ourselves for the simple reason that nobody will know us better than ourselves. When in the face of a moment of decision, especially relating closely to our interests., we have to make it based on personal conditions. For example, I decide to have a further study abroad. But it means I have to give up a myriad of valuable things such as the high-pay job in a business company, the separation from my families and friends, familiar domestic living environment. But more importantly, I think all these things deserve the exchange for an opportunity for a further study in MBA. That is because I have a full and clear understanding of myself- I am aggressive in the business realm and the experience of foreign education in MBA is a significant plus to my future career. The rudder of our life boat ought to be handled by ourselves and we must control our lives completely because we always know ourselves better than others and then are probable to make correct and provident decisions.

Also, as the modern life is more complex, we have to well deal with a large amount of tasks, which have the tendency to become more difficult. So likewise, others are too busy to make decisions for us and have no inclination to bear related responsibility. Take my experience for example. When I was a freshman in a business company, I was caught into a state of mess because I am unfamiliar with processing fairs. Fortunately, a comrade named Mary lent her hand to me and pulled me from the dog of trouble. Nevertheless, after a couple of days when I asked for her help just as I did in the past, she refused and had a serious talk with me: "you have already adapted to the job. If I continue to make decision for you in tasks assigned by the superior, you will get into a languid person that is prone to rely on others. Everyone has his or her business. So no one can replace you in making your own decisions." So I become truly independent from that moment on and keep the principle in mind that we have to bear responsibiity that belong to us. It turns out to be necessary for us to make decisions for the argument above.

To sum up, given that we are the optimum persons to make our own decisions and others have no right and time to replace us in making decisions, I am convinced that in modern life, most people would like others to make decisions for themselves rather than to make decisions for themselves.
