很恰好在三十分钟的铃响时写完了最后一句话，洋洋洒洒有时近400字。不过感觉不是太好，又花了十几分钟重新修饰了一下，就有了下面这篇文章，大家留下链接，狠狠地拍啊！

Neighbors, an indispensable element of making our life more colorful, are the ones who live near us. In order to live in harmony, having good neighbors has always been our major concern. So what are the criteria of being a good neighbor? Form my point of view, respectful, humorous and warmhearted as one is, can he/she be appraised as a good neighbor.

To begin with, a good neighbor is so called because he/she shows his/her respect to neighbors. This means for one thing, he/she does not hold prejudice towards others, or put in a different way, he/she neither sneers the poor nor flatters the rich. For another, a respectful neighbor should not probe into other’s privacy. No one likes to be gossiped about how much he/she earns per month, what he/she eats everyday for breakfast, or even how many times he/she quarrels with his/her spouse per week. Thus, good neighbors ought to present their respect not only to their neighbors, but to enough private space their neighbors desire.

Of equal importance is that a good neighbor should have a sense of humor. Living in a world full of competition, what we hope after a day’s hard work is just cracking a smile to relax ourselves. A neighbor with a sense of humor can well satisfy our desire. Having a talk dotted with jokes with him/her, can bear our burdens, lessen our tensions and dissolve all the annoying trifles we encountered at work or study. Unfortunately, if we have a rigid and dull neighbor without a sense of humor, it is just like having a spring without flowers, or having a cuisine without seasoning.

Perhaps the most critical character a good neighbor should possess is warmheartedness. It is said that "Better good neighbors near than relations far away". An accommodating neighbor, for example, makes us feel relieved to leave our pets when we are away on business. An obliging neighbor, for another case, is willing to give us a hand when the water pipe is accidentally broken.

To sum up, a good neighbor who is respectful, humorous and warmhearted, by living harmoniously with us, can contribute to our cozy lives.

To sum up, a good neighbor, living harmoniously with us, who is respectful, humorous and warmhearted, can contribute to our cozy life (lives).

个人感觉：句式丰富，引用和比喻都用上了，很多词汇用得也挺好得。三十分钟写出这样得文章已经不错了。第三段得例子仔细想来是有点不太合适，不过没大碍吧，考场上想没有太多可想得时间，基本上还说得通就可以了。

142．A gift (such as a camera, a soccer ball, or an animal) can contribute to a child development. What gift would you give to help a child develop? Why? Use reasons and specific examples to support your choice.
Children are so flexible that sometimes only a small gift can shape their view of the world. Since the gift can contribute to a child’s development, one should be extremely careful in choosing gifts for a child. As far as I am concerned, what present should be given to children for their development is dependent on their distinct characteristic and gender.

To begin with, if the child is relatively pessimistic, I would consider sending him/her a camera as a present. Why do I make this choice? Because a camera helps open the child’s eye to the world, divert his/her attention to the brighter side of the society. With the camera shooting the dulcet scenery, the child can appreciate the beauty of nature and the affection among people, which gradually changes his/her attitude towards others to become optimistic.

On other conditions, say, if the boy who is going to receive my gift is a little shy, I think a soccer ball would suit him best. Soccer play is an activity requiring team work. To participate in the game, one should fuse into the team first, getting to know each other, exchanging ideas with one another, so as to cooperate well in the competition. The property of soccer urges the boy to act bravely, expressing himself in front of a large number of people. In this way, a soccer ball is apt to shape the shy boy into a more courageous one.

For another instance, for a cruel girl, I believe a kitty is the best present for her. A kitty cute enough is competent to thaw the icebound heart of the girl. The soft fur, the gentle meow and the agility body are all capable to arouse the girl’s affection and compassion, making her more amicably when treating others. With the company of the kitty, I am sure that the girl will become a docile lady as pretty as it is.

Based on the reasons discussed above, we can safely come to the conclusion that in order to maximize the impact a gift can exert on a child’s development, we should cautiously choose the gift according to his /her characteristic and gender.

103. In your opinion, what is the most important characteristic (for example, honesty, intelligence, a sense of humor) that a person can have to be successful in life? Use specific reasons and examples from your experience to explain your answer. When you write your answer, you are not limited to the examples listed in the question.

A person’s characteristic is a vital element in determining one’s success in his/her life. When asked about my opinion, I will positively give the first priority to honesty as the most important characteristic for one to be successful. My choice is based on the following reasons.

First and foremost, an honest man can easily earn the credit form his boss, and thus wins a better chance of promotion. Being a supervisor of an enterprise, the boss cannot manage everything himself. What he need is a trustful employee who he can authorize full power to take charge of a certain department. Therefore, if one is ambitious to pursue a higher position, honesty is a crucial characteristic that he can take advantage of to catch the eyeballs of his boss.

Besides getting the faith of one’s boss, an honest man can also win the belief of his colleagues so as to get along with them more comfortably. No one likes to work in a place filled with hostile atmosphere, encountering other’s cold eyes, bearing other’s aspersion. To avoid this embarrassing situation, one should act as honest as possible, to eliminate the suspicion holding by his colleagues towards him. Only in this way, can one make possible the close cooperation with others in the work.

Last but not the least, honest as one is, can he be accredited by his clients to build to solid relationship to extend his business. If one deceives his clients for money, maybe he can make a fortune temporarily; however this will not last long. His poor client would possibly complain to others about his ill behavior so that people will suspect his dignity, leading to a downfall of his business.

According to the three reasons listed above, an honest person is believable from the perspectives of his boss, colleagues and clients, to grant him a better chance of promotion, a more favoring career and greater development in business. In this sense, it is sagacious to conclude that honesty is a cardinal characteristic for one to be successful in life.

好像就像版主说的例子举的不好，但是句型的结构很好，值得本人学习的

楼主能在30分钟内写出这么好的文章，已经相当不错了，其实的比喻和句型超级值得我学习。除了前面提到的例子举得可待加强和个别笔误外，真的是篇很不错的写作，我就不多加评价了。如果要说的话就是第三段整体水平不如前面的，可能是因为时间的原因吧。楼主加油。真的要多多向楼主学习希望楼主帮我看看。
