2# 雲靉玥 When asked about what kinds of jobs do people demand(they want), almost all human beings(would) saythat they want a highsalary and more vacation time job(a job with high salaries andlong vacations). However, as we all know, it is impossible for themajority. As a result, we must make a significant resolution (decision) on whether we choose a job withmore vacation time but a low salary or a job with a high salary but lessvacation time(between more vacation and more pay). To me, I feel that it(删) depends on the age of theperson.

For younger people, who have endless energy, positive mentalities and strong bodies just like me, jobs with high salary butless vacation time will suit them. The young need to pay loads of money(删) for their houses, spendtheir money on their interests, or save some money for their future, but thefact is that most of young people do not have so much money. Thus, young shouldearn money as much as they can. After all, they do not have things such as kidsor illnesses to worry about. The harder you work in your younger age, the moremoney you will get. Nobodywill deny that people can easily to do what they are fond of as well as behappy with the money they earn.6 R* i5 M: i8 \& d4 t
But for elder people, jobs with more vacation timebut a low salary may be a better choice. First, the (their)bodies will not be as strong as healthy. Theyhave to care for their bodies and give their bodies more time to relax.(they have to take care ofthemselves due to poorer healthy conditions) In addition, the olderalready have financial bases. Money is not what they are worried about most. Onthe contrary, money may be not as important as their families, interests orrest time for them. Take myparents, who are both merchants doing business in our city, as an example. Theyhave worked really hard and hardly ever had vacation time, even though theyalready had enough money. They both took ill and, the illness has changed theirlifestyles. They reduced their working time and therefore their income reduced, too. Nevertheless, not only do they feel ill like before, but they are alsomuch happier.(take my parents who are merchants, for example, when theyare young… . When they are at their forties,…)()
In conclusion, people of different ages are eagerfor different things, therefore people should choose different kinds of jobs as they grow older.(People might have differentchoices at different ages) Nobody can define one job that they will do throughout their whole lifetime. |
