University students should be required to take basic science classes even if they are not part of the field of the study

Nowadays, the most significant subject is basic science for college students. I prefer learning basic science for the following reasons:
At the first, it covers a lot of fields like biology, physics, chemistry. With learning basic science, we can expand our knowledge and improve our abilities. For example, I enjoy learning chemistry, I think chemistry is the foundation of understanding all kinds of weather conditions, in my experience. I assume the varies of weather conditions are so magic that I am engross in learning them.
On the other hand, basic science is also good for our daily life. Without science, our society cannot work any more. Therefore, Modern college students have to get more science information. In my opinion, not only should we learn our major well, but also we should have interests in another subjects. I believe that knowledge is power. Plus, the world is also finding the leader with a wide range of knowledge. Widely knowledge is also easier for college students to obtain a satisfactory job.
Finally, we can solute our endless questions by studying basic science. The person I admire the most is my father. The reason is that he knows all kinds of subjects and he is able to solute my questions. I learn lots of methods from him and also want to be an excellent person like him.
All in all, learning basic science have a big impact on the currently college students. We should try our best to learn more.
