离考试还有20天，之前居然还荒废了一个星期。重新敲起键盘感觉好僵硬……
仍然没有限时成功，字数还不够，崩溃中。。
觉得历史类的话题很难写。。今天咬牙写了一个，果然惨淡，请猛拍。

"History teaches us only one thing: knowing about the past cannot help people make important decisions today."


论点：反对。了解历史有助于人们做出更正确的决定。
第一段：历史上有很多成功的事例，我们可从中获得解决问题的思维方式。
        例子：牛顿吸取前人经验获得成功。
第二段：历史上也有很多失败的例子，我们不能完全否定它们，而要从中吸取教训，避免犯同样的错误。
        例子：华盛顿吸取国王在老年时多会昏庸的教训坚决不连任。（对比Chairman Mao）
第三段：我们学习历史的目的不是盲目遵从成功的或者否定失败的，而是要将历史和现实结合起来，用最正确的方法解决当前的问题。

The speaker argues that historical experiences are useless today. It seems that all the things-the society, the technology, the world-have changed enormously and we can only make decisions based on current situation. However, although the experiences of the past may have expired by now, we could learn much more than nothing from our ancestors' success and failures.

On one hand, the successful historical experiences gave us a clear thinking method to achieve similar but more significant success. One of the greatest scientist in modern times, Newton talked about his theory briefly:"If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants." His most famous book 'Principia' was based on the experiences of three other scientists in history: Copernicus, the Poland astronomer; Bruno, the Italian philosopher, and Kepler, the German physicist. Without absorbing his predecessors' knowledge, I could hardly imagine Newton wrote another 'Principia' as good as this one.

On the other hand, we learn from the failures in history so the same mistake can be avoided and we are closer to make the correct decision. In the old times, a lot of kings and emperors were enlightened before their mid-ages but tyrannical and corrupted when they got old. Considering these fail experiences, George Washington, the first president of the United States, refused to serve his third term as president. No wonder he is considered one of the greatest presidents in US history and widely honored across the world. Conversely, Mao Zedong, the greatest leader in China last century, did not see the disadvantages of being lifelong president from history. In his late life he made a big mistake and China suffered as long as ten years in the Great Culture Revolution.

The purpose of studying history is not blindly copy our predecessors' successful experiences, because the world is always changing. We must learn the essential part from history-the methods of thinking, and integrate it with current problems. However, the failures in history should not be deserted because we could learn which ways are blocked from them. So we are more proximate to the right decisions.

In sum, history is so important that we can learn not only what we shall do but also what we shall not. Previous experiences are helpful for us to make more correct decisions. Man without any knowledge of the past is making decisions like gambling.

虚拟语气和主谓一致是不是指的第二段最后一句。。确实问题大，改成这样会不会通一点：
Suppose（If） Newton did not absorb his predecessors' knowledge, he could hardly write another 'Principia' as good as the classical one.
介词搭配的错误有哪些地方啊？是be more proximate to 那里么？第一次用这个词。。
