87."In any field of inquiry, the beginner is more likely than the expert to make important discoveries."(527字)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Outline:
开头:  让步-作者观点-个人观点(基本同意:beginner>expert
段落2:承认expert的优势:1.有效选择通往成功的途径(例:taxi driver

2.expert
的知

3.expert

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In a few respects, experts hold more advantages in academic research. But they are less likely to make a breakthrough than young researchers in the speaker’s opinion which I fundamentally agree with.
To begin with, experts always have abundant experiences which could help them to evaluate which way to success is more effective. Take taxi drivers for example, when taking a taxi, you may notice that an experienced driver are more familiar with the place and are more effective making an decision of the path to follow which benefits both passengers and drivers. Moreover, the knowledge experts gained through trials and errors may help us handle the base on which we could infer to somewhat discoveries. Also their mature psychological level could greatly influenced us when encountering certain difficulties
However, there is an compelling fact we can not ignore that the innovation in the science acts as the momentum of the society development. For beginners, they often hold intense curiosity and creativities in any realm of inquiry which contributing significantly to the new discoveries.
Crick discovered the structure of the DNA molecular by imagination and at that time he was still a postgraduate student, John Nash, 1994 Nobel Prize owner, made his breakthrough of game theory in his doctoral treatise when he was 22. The vivid examples show that the beginners have the potential to detect the unknown world of their field.

Furthermore, beginners may not be limited by the established knowledge. People who gradually become experts must have been devoted to their major for a long period of time which leads them to treat all things in perspective of their own academic field while the beginners tend to regard things combining other aspects, similar to the concept of cross-subjects. Just as a little child get a new toy, he will come up with new ways of playing rather than follow the introduction carefully. Also, a series of examples concerns with the period of the beginning of quantum mechanics. There are several young physicists such as Bose, Heisenberg, Dirac and Pauli who are all under 30, making important contributions to the development of quantum mechanics, while some more experienced physicists held totally wrong ideas and did not do any great job at that period. Thus, the speaker’s claim has some merit to certain extant.
Another compelling fact is, the beginners are superior to experts in physical strength, passion, reaction and the most important---attention. Experts are more easily to be interference from outside, like family, fame, colloquium or even commercial matter. And therefore the time they put in researching is limited while for the young beginners, they have nothing to consider at the beginning, fame and status are just what they are endeavor to gain, colloquium isn’t the proper place for them. All they can do is down to the earth, concentrate on the subject and experiment in the laboratory until there appears a discovery.
In sum, it’s obvious that experts are authority in the area of academic due to their experience, knowledge and contribution they ever make, but beginners equipped with creativity, hardworking and courage to challenge the authority have more potential to make a discoveries.
