Should all the faculties in college and university practice their teaching-courses outside the academic world? Thus is it the only way to reach the goal? The answers would hinge on the characters of different subjects. In short, real-world experience indeed can improve the quality of teaching at college and university level if there is a possible practicality for the course, what’s more, which is a direct and valid path to enhance the understand to the theories stated in the textbook when it is necessary.


Admittedly, colleges and universities should offer chances for their faculties to practice the theories in realities as possible as they could. Two clear benefits rest with the process. Firstly, teachers can make a better comprehension to some comprehensive theories and explain them to students in a more broad insight. As we all know, many flaws probably emerge when theories are practiced into jobs for hosts of uncertain factors exist. Taking the example of IC-design, the operating environment of components of sorts, station amplifier, dynatron in analog circuit is awfully vital for regular transmission of electrical information. Secondly, the teaching of theories added related practical stories in class can make the course more interesting and rich, thereby sparking students’ interest in this field.


At the same time, the college and universities had better provide similar opportunities for some students who major engineering courses, economics or psychology to put what they have learned into practice. Through the experience, not only can they ferret out the most important and useful respects of knowledge, which can instruct them to catch the core in campus, but help them clarify the interest and make a college career-planning.


Beneficial as it is, some fields that can’t be put into practice still exist, like theoretical physics, astrophysics, philosophy and so on. Relativity, put forward by Einstein, have been developed from one generation to another by deduction, even without experiment, let alone finding some place to work outside the academic world in professions. Especially some types of imaginative literature novels, poetry, mythology, almost needn’t any real-working for mind-creating is the principal part and over-thinking with analysis is the most effective meanings of test. Aside from the discussed above, another neutral courses-neither too theory nor very easily practiced-also should pay attention to for investing too much time or expenses.


In sum, college and university should try to provide chances of connection between theory and practice for the faculties like working in professions, establishing related labs. Besides, as for the methods contributing to the teaching quality, they include many other apart from sharing workshop experience, such as the long-term academic accumulation, the sufficient teaching facilities, the free and tolerant academic atmosphere, the good-timing birth of geniuses etc.
