另外想说一句，像这种都不知道讨论过多少遍的题目，其实完全可以填一部分进google搜索，就会搜出很多解答。完全不需要发帖。。。。

这题题目应该是漏了个关键性标点。A century ago the physician's word was___—(破折号）to doubt it was considered almost sacrilegious.

to doubt it中的it指的的就是the physician's word, 于是整句逻辑就成了：质疑the physician's word was considered sacrilegious, so the physician's word was____. 可见此空应该填类似于“真理的”“神圣的”之类意思的词，答案中只有C选项满足。

我突然想到老罗说过一句话：“谁最喜欢写这些结构狂复杂，内容巨空洞的句子呀？”答曰：“ETS”；这题结构抽出来就是一个A informing B的句型，A意味着B，所以B是重复A的，A=人们的社会行为和价值观是难以统一的；B=一种观点是不能被另一种观点空格的，甚至空格为简单无趣的。由A可知，对于社会行为和价值观是没有统一标准的，所以没有谁是真正的对谁是真正的错，所以一种社会行为是不能用另一个社会行为来质疑甚至驳斥为简单无趣的。
