With the comprehension and complexity in educational system, there is no doubt that faculties should take into account of spending time in knowledge relevant to the courses they teach rather than purely academic courses. Both teachers and students would get obviously benefits after that approach, meanwhile, acquiring for professional knowledge of outside also contributes to development in educational career.
Firstly, teachers, who have the professional experience unlimited in academic courses, can bring about high skillfulness and effectiveness while they teach. Extra knowledge that contains widely ranges of information is becoming essential in teaching. Supposing a teacher has affluent experience in his teaching subject and gives a vivid litter story before each course. What a amazing thing it is. It works especially in science subjects liking chemistry and physics and so on. Many mechanical and boring theorems are full of these books. Most students would hate that unless teachers can describe them in a living way. At this time, professional knowledge is crucial in deciding weather they can do it. Teachers would perform easy and confident in courses if they have enough extra knowledge relevant to their teaching and completely apply it to their course.
On the other hand, students would steeply gain their interests and enthusiasm in studying if they come across a teacher who shows erudition in academic and outside knowledge in both sides. A proverb says “Zest is the best teacher”. No one would opposite that. Most students are easy to distract for lose interests when they have long time study or boring subject, which may conducts unbelievable result and even some student give up their study. However teachers play a larger part in cultivating student’ zest. Students can totally influence and encourage by their teachers’ knowledge outside of academic, which arise their zest in a further way. Once zest is arose, even though it is not proper time or place to do it, students can’t help studying at any time
Lastly, in order to perfect our educational career we should advocate this approach to every colleges and universities. With the development of social diversity, Academic study that is limited in literacy can not content us. We have to learn more if we want to get better know and adjust to the society. If most teachers have separately experience of deeply outside in his subject, and then before they enter to society or attend works students could acquire and improve a lot about their abilities from their teachers. At the same time, it would be a great achievement for educational career.
