“Students should memorize factsonly after they have studied the ideas, trends, and concepts that help explainthose facts. Students who have learned only facts have learned very little.”
When I first perfunctorily see this topic, I think it seems veryreasonable. But after my
deep(deeper 会比较好) thinking, I find many questions(用question不是很好,我觉得应该用表示质疑的词会更好,例如??)
in this topic.
When
the
students
have
studied the
ideas, trends and concepts that
help
explain the
facts,
it
will
help the
students have
a
great(better会更好,great有点过了)
impression about this
topic(facts,笔误?), but(与其用but不如用although的从句更好)
it
is
not
the
only
way
to make
the
students memorize the
facts. Even sometimes, we do not know theconcepts of the facts we also memorize the facts. For example, we(when?)
a
student
whose
major
class is
law(a studentwho majors law is better expression in English?), she
doesn’t know anything about magnet, when she
sees
the
maglev train,
she
may be deeply
attracted by
this
mystery
phenomena, so
it
have
a
strong impression
in
her
brain and
she
memorizes
the
facts.
Sometimes
we
could
be
attracted
by
some
interesting
images, I
like
chemistry experiment very much , the
first reason
I like
chemistry
experiment
is
that
its phenomena is
very
interesting
so it gives a
strong
impression
to
the
students(students 和这个句子中的i不一致)
we operate it
, so
I
could
not
know
the
concepts
and
trends
of
the
mechanism of
reactions it
could make
me
memorize
the
facts.
In
this
topic , the
writer
says
that
students have
only
learned
very
little
about
the
facts
when
they
memorize
the
facts. In
sometimes ,we know very little
things
or
nothing
about
the
facts we
could
memorize the
facts, but
sometimes
we
must know many things
about the
facts
,
under
this
preposition
we
can
memorize
the
facts. Such
as
when
I
see
some
abstruse amuse story
when
I
first
see
this(this 指代什么,用the表示抽象概念更好)
story
,I
can find
nothing
interesting ,in
this
condition, there are
tow?
situations ,first
this
story
is
not
interesting
at all
or
you
must
know
more
about
the background knowledge
of
the
story
that
you
can find
something interesting in
this
story
and
in the
further step ,
you
can
memorize
the
facts.
At
last
in
a
word
,there is
not
a
single
method
could
make
sure
you
memorize the
fact ,
sometimes
we
must
know
the
concepts
and
trends of
the
facts
and
know many
things
about the
facts
that
we
can
memorize
the
facts, but
some
we
even know
little
about the
facts
when
we
memorize the
facts, it
all
depends on
the
fact
itself.
评论:
1.
对题目的理解不够深刻,题目的假设是: Students who have learned only facts have
learned very little.”
所以他得出结论说:Students should memorize facts only after they have studied theideas, trends, and concepts that help explain those facts.
按照<<5.5>>的思想,这是一个因果型的题目。
但是石头对题目的理解好像是不一定是要理解了trends。。才能记住,所以文章反驳题目的观点说我不记住ideas, trends, and concepts that help explain those facts一样可以记住东西,对题目的理解有事偏颇。
2.
句子的表达前后不一致,如上面的句子开头用I,但是后面又变成了the students 3.
作者的英语语感不是很好,很多词的用法不当,最起码不地道。 |
