                     As far as I am concerned, we usually judge an individual by his or her appearance and behavior. Definitely, they are likely not to exactly reflect the real side all the time. In a word, who can actually articulate to connect two together always? Granted that members in a certain group share the same characteristic, it is inaccurate to embrace all the case. Sometimes, the way citizens dress, act do stand for the society’s popularity or value. But this kind of judgement is not adequate to tell the truth. My justifications are amplified as follows.
                  To start with, experience tells us that it is a typical of a certain character to behave or dress in a certain way. Maybe, the definition of the character covers the sort of behaviors. Taking gentlemen for example, they are used to wear formal suits, behave elegantly. The male possesses either character is accessed as gentleman. It is commonly accepted. Formal, gentle are the words people would choose to describe a nice man.
                 On the other hand, this is not to say, everyone who corresponds with the simple definition is not always a true gentleman. Although a man is generally thought of according to the simple definition, there is no ground to demonstrate that man having on a suit of sportswear is not gentle or man wearing formal clothes must be a gentleman. The so-called “wolf in sheep’s coat” can powerfully explain the phenomena. In practice, here and there can wolves be found.Recently, it is reported the famous rock singer in Indonesia is accused of owing to sexy scandal. At this point, the appearance is just the first impression, and it is not the complete display of a man.
                  In addition, the speaker’s words refer to the matter of regularity and exception. Here goes the saying: a swallow can not make a summer. Individuals are not ample to represent the whole. How could we say that all the white look down upon because of some affairs of racial discrimination. Few would dispute that the condition of discrimination accomplishes great improvement since the speech of Martin Luther King. Obviously, we emphasize not individuals ,but the group.
                 However, state in a group cannot be equal to that in another group.
There exit the difference because of racial culture. For example, nodding in the United States means appreciate or agree, while, on the contrary, it expresses the attitude of dissent. Therefore, if one treats his or her American and Indian guests with beef , both of they will nod. That really causes problem if the host think in the ordinary way.
Therefore, it is a narrow viewpoint to acquire the society’s ideas and values at sometimes via the reflections of its people..
                In despite of the differences, the residents mostly mirror the nation’s attitude. The greeting words in different countries help comprehend the standpoint. In China, what is usually the case, people are accustomed to start their conversation by the question :”Have you eaten’. At the same time, English will say: ” what a nice weather!”
It does not take too much sketch of imagination to realize that Chinese highlight eating, while English emphasize the weather. Namely, people in a very region have a lot local in common, which indicate the society’s value or ideas.
                In summary, human behaves according to his mind. Yet, one’s aspect, frankly speaking, tells lies sometimes. Appearance is just the first approach to know someone. To get familiar with one is to check out whether his mind is consistent with his look. In addition, a piece of land, admittedly, cultivates her people. Local residents’ behavior is the immediate and convenient step to enjoy her culture.(613)
