In this argument,the president of Mira College willy-nilly claims that they must offer more courses in business and computer technology and hire additional job counselors to help students with their resumes and interviewing sills to help them find employment.To strengthen this assertion,the author notes that Green Mountain College has more business courses and more job counselors than does Mira Vista College.Then acknowledges that,last year, 90 percent of graduating seniors in Green Mountain College got job offers from prospective employers while in Mira Vista College it was only 70 percent.At first glance,this  conclusion seems to be appealing,but clearly examining the whole reasoning,we find that it is unconvincing.This argument contains some facts that are questionable.

First of all,the author's evidences are not affirmative.We are told nothing about the way the survey was conducted,and how well the respondents can be representative.For instance,if all the respondents are among top 100 students of last year's graduating seniors,the tiny proportion of all graduates,we should not be so sure about the conclusion can stand for all graduates of Green Mountain College.Moreover,the methor only carry out in Green Mountain College,but the arguer applies the result to Mira Vista College without showing us  whether the former college has any other factors that may lead to the result,such as the overall level of the students and the faculty.Facing such limited evidences,the author's conclusion is unwarranted.

Secodly,the authoe makes an oversimplified analogy between Green Mountain College and Mira Vista College,which are near but maybe different colleges.Furthermore,in most instances,this is an awarranted assumpption for simple reason that things are rarely remain the same when conditions change.As known to everyone,variety of factors should be taken into consideration,for example,students graduate from business major might have more oppertunities when seeking job because the requirment is larger.

In addition,the scant evidence the author cites proves nothing about the reason why the percentage of graduating seniors getting job offers in Mira Vista College is lower than in Green Mountain College.The casual relationship of the reason that Green Mountain College has more business courses and job counselors and the conclusion that Mira Vista College must do the same is unwarrated.Even if I concede that more courses and job counselors have effect on the result,which is,of course,an awrranted assumption,it does not follow that the same methor will certainly work in Mira Vista College.This reasoning is fallacious unless the author can provide affirmative evidence to support the correlation between the reason and conclusion.

Finally,what the president want is more invest into offering more courses in business and computer technoloy hire more job counselors,where is the point we may adoubt that whether the money will be well pained and get the prospective effect.

To sum up,this argument is unconvincing.As a president of a college,he or she has overlooked of chosen to ignore many respects of hie or her reasoning.To make the conclusion reasonable,the author should offer more neccesary evidences about above-mentioned problems.
