正确答案是D。我不太懂D有什么相关的，我想选B，我觉得题目是说“批评者说N有害，应该关闭N。作者反驳说N也不比C更加有害，所以要求关闭C是没道理的。”我觉得B说“关闭N=新建C”应该是前提假设……

作者在argue的时候，说了critics的观点不成立，因为迄今为止核电带来的危害不比传统发电多。
在这里，他的assumption是“将来也不会超过”。

楼主，如果问的是Which of the following supports the argument above，B完全可以的，但是如果是assumption，只能是D
