3月13日1100430 do you agree or disagree with the following statement it is important to know about what is happening around the world, even if it doesn’t affect your personal lives.

With the development of the technology and financial, the world has becoming more and more fastened and connected. Through the Internet, we just click and move the mouse and a lot of websites and pages showed are fascinated us. So, from my point of view, the importance of knowing what is now happening around the world means a lot.

To begin with, through knowing what is happening around the world, we can find many events and affairs, from which we can have a better understanding of ourselves. Tor instance, the financial crisis took place in America in 2009. After it happened, as a Chinese, I might think about whether my relatives or money stored in the Chinese Bank would be affected and fluctuated much, which extremely concerned the Chinese financial development as same as my personal asset.

Moreover, when there is a natural disaster, which happens in the world, such as in Japan, we will donate money and aiding materials to their people suffered from the disaster. If we don’t know the news, those people in danger will be hard to survive and even die if only they are supported by their government. Take the Wen Chuan Earthquake for example. As soon as the earthquake happened, people, no matter the black and white, wealth and poor, Europe, America or the Africa, gathered together and contributed their things, which could help people get from the danger. So, knowing what is happening around the world will help us to be a unity and harmonious.

Of course, there are also some views, which may think knowing what is happening around the world is nothing, but a kind of waste of time because these are settled by the government officer. But, from what we have talking about, we will draw the conclusion that it’s really necessary and important for us even if it doesn’t affect our personal lives.
