It is universallyacknowledged that human lives have changed dramatically with the advances in technologyand science. We recognize that the standards of living have been improved a lotthanks to the fast development of science and technology. Therefore，I suppose that the fastdevelopment of society today is a positive trend for us .

At first, one issue whichmakes me bolster my viewpoint is that we have enjoyed a more efficient and convenientlife due to the improvement. For instance, with the development of thetransportation system and some residence institution, the world is gettingsmaller and smaller, and people are not restricted in only one area. Less timewill be cost if we travel to a new place. Moreover, we can talk to each otherfaraway by telephone or on the Internet, which was daydreaming several scoresof years ago. IT is the fast development that has cleared away the barriersthat once prevented people from leading a convenient life.

Secondly, the fact that the developmentof our society causes the longer life of people also provides me with adequatejustification for my viewpoint. We must admit that people have better food andbetter medical services nowadays which can help people increase the longevity. Moreover,more time can be spend on sports, which is essential for being healthy andliving longer, to build up stronger bodies. What’s more, lots of developedhealth system is another significant factor for people to live for a long time.Due to the development of medical technology, now people’s average age is twoor three times of the stone age.

Admittedly, we mustacknowledge that there comes out some problems in the process of the fastdevelopment such as the pollution of the environment、the increasingly gap betweenthe rich and the poor. But those problems are resolving and as a whole the fastdevelopment makes the Earth a better place to live.

From what has been discussedabove, we can safely draw the conclusion that the advantages of the fastdevelopment outweigh the disadvantages it may rings to us .In sum, it is apositive trend which makes our life better.
