Effective October 1, 2014: Please scan and upload to your application, copies of your official transcript including (if available) the marking guide from the issuing institution (which is normally on the back of the transcript along with the English language translations (if necessary). If you are offered admission to the Graduate Program it will be on a conditional basis and you will then need to arrange to have two (2) official transcripts in sealed and endorsed envelopes issued by the Registrar of all colleges and universities you attended, sent to the Graduate Program directly, with the exception of UBC graduates whom are not required to provide UBC transcripts. All transcripts (and degree certificates) must arrive at UBC in sealed and endorsed envelopes issued by the home institution to be considered official. If you have graduated from institutions where the transcripts (and degree certificates) are issued in a language other than English, you must provide two sets of official academic records issued in the original language AND accompanying certified English literal translations. If the issuing institution does not provide English translations of academic documents, you must arrange for official English translations to be done by a certified translator. All English translations must also be submitted in sealed, endorsed envelopes from the translator.
