暑假才可以给我答复的教授 但是我特别想去啊怎么办

如下：
very much appreciate your interest in my research. As I am new to the University of Guelph, I am waiting for a response to my funding requests. Thus, I will not be able to give any answer until the summer for a graduate stipend. This puts it rather close to the deadlines for the fall semester. I hope you will keep in contact and I will let you know how the funding goes.
Your experience is very pertinent, and I hope we will be able to work together.
Further along in the spring, I will contact you for a Skype meeting, perhaps with the graduate coordinator.

请问 1.这样成的几率有多大？meeting为啥还要和委员会的一起面。。。
        2.时间上会不会来不及 要将近ddl才知道funding的情况，那会都暑假了 我的签证不会受影响吗。。。。

1.当然要和committee一起面试，即便教授决定，也要有这样的过场。
2.你如果拿到了offer，签证什么不用担心，最差你spring再去。
3.我不认为教授就你一个candidate，所以我觉得你别的申请继续，如果其他的不行，你只有等这个了。
