The art is the great creation of human nature and play more and more important in the society today as it had been in the past and as it will be in the future.No one can deny the great art is the part and parcel during the long process of history and gives society something of lasting value,but more often than not the people ignore the function of the critic who also have the indelible effect to both art and something of lasting value in society.
  The arts that music,literature,dance.and painting and so on focus on telling the emotional reponse of the life and showing the representation of good or bad in society to help the people understand the society clearly with the result of giving society something of lasting value.Let bring our point to a present and practical context,it can gives a example that the "for alice"composed by beethoven,from which we comprehend the strong love and mild sorrow while it leave unlimated space to think for offspring.In addition,the "Jane eyre" in which the dramatis personae go through the hell and high water to figure for the well-being and she trust strongly the life equate the both dignity and love.The great opus have unlimited value and handed down generation to generation.The similar evidence is replete with our history and indeed the artist gives society something of lasting value,also the art is the catalyst and bank date of the history and it is the timeless topic among the people even if they have not the same language.However,how many people can know and understadn art with half an eye.
  In ordinaty course,the people ignore the vital function of the critic and critic always do their bit to the art.First of all,we must know that the critic is a person who evaluates works of art.As a proverb says that"the critic who is a legless man teach others running",the meaning is that part of critic make short shrift of the criticism and have no wise ideas and thoughts to the opus ,so similarly these kind of critic is failure in art field.On the contrary,the real critic's criticism is a kind of commentary to the merit and defect of the opus instead of the milk and water or a flow of conversation.In addition,the critic's evaluation of an art serves as a filter help us determine which art is worth our time and attention.To the opus which has a negative effect to the general mood and society,the critic can tear off their evil mask so that it cannot do harm to the majority of people.To the great opus,the critic can tell of the artist that the merit and defect of the opus as much detail as possible.Take the "sunflower"as a example,without the critic,who can comprehend the signification that the sunflower stands for the author's burnning desire and enthusiasm to the life.Thus,the critic is the part and parcle in the great art field.
  Finally,the critic has the function of catalyst to the art and artist.As a great critic,his wise ideas and thoughts can provide feedback to the artist,if taken to the heart,can result in the better work.The history are replete the vivid example to demonstrate the point,for example,the famous fiction that "dream of the red chamber" wrote by Cao Xueqin and this opus had rework for hundreds of times under some personal suggestion.Thus,artist supplement the critics each other,as the times passes,the great works are those which are created by artist and evaluated by critic more often than not.Thus,the art is the crystallization of the critic and artist and both of them gives society something of lasting value.
