ISSUE51 - "Education will be truly effective only when it is specifically designed to meet the individual needs and interests of each student."

不是what the individual want 而是what the individual really need whether he or she concede or not.

Should education be specifically designed to meet the needs and interests of each student? And why? How can we make education truly effective? What is a truly effective education? These complex questions have troubled educators for a long time. In someone's opinion, only by offering specifically designed education can we achieve the goal of teaching effectively. (make our education effective). Generally speaking, I fundamentally agree with this perspective.

First of all, specifically designed education might be more likely to provide every student with exactly what he or she needs, and therefore the student can benefit more from it. Confucius, the greatest educator in ancient China, ever pointed out that the best way to teach is to offer an individualized quality education for every student, in other words, to teach students in accordance with their aptitudes. Actually, as a teacher, Confucius always tried to teach in this way. One day, a student came to ask him: "If I decide to do something, should I begin to do it immediately?" He answered: "Yes, of course." Next(The next) day, however, another student went to ask the same question but got a different answer: "No, of course not!" Why? That is because the first student was one of those who were always meticulous and often hesitated to act, while the second one was quite mindless and never think twice before his action. By giving them entirely different answers to the same question, Confucius educated them to   identify their weaknesses, and improved their characters(and as a result of that, both of them successfully improved their characters to some degree). This case illustrates the point that individualized education is appropriate, for the reason that different students of (with) different deficiencies need different educations.

Furthermore, offering an individualized quality education can meet interests and needs of some unique students and enable them to develop their inherent advantages( also help students to develop their inherent advantages as well as interests effectively). There are extraordinarily great number of outstanding people whose success is(who succeed) due to individualized education. Picasso, the most creative Spanish painter, who began to learn how to draw from his father with interest at an aerly age, never received a general education. Mozart, the worldwide famous musician, followed  his interest in music and started to compose when he was a child of 4, accepting no traditional formal education. Another typical example is Helen, a female writer, who lost the abilities of hearing, speaking and seeing at an early age. It is obvious that without the specially designed education of herthat family teacher who taught her only student-Helen- all heart and soul (heart and soul全心全意地), she would not become a prominent writer but only a painful patient even though she had a talent (not only interests but also talents)  . The lesson we can draw from all these cases is that an individualized quality education might be helpful and efficient for students especially the unique ones.can be significant helpful to students . Since every student has his or her own latnet capacities and intersts, most effective education should make effort to draw out what is hidded in each student individually.

Admittedly, general education, the common method of teaching, also can make a difference to students' lives. But it can not be the most efficient way. Meanwhile, specifically designed education sometimes might be unavailable for most of people, for the reason that in contemporary society each teacher has so many students that it seems impossible for him or her to know each of his or her students well, let alone teach each of them in different ways. Despite of these, we can not deny the wonderful advantages of specifically designed education, which is seems to be somewhat idealistic (ideal). idealistic不是个褒义词,是表示那种空想的理想主义式的东西,所以我用ideal理想的,完美的。

On the basis of these analyses, I would conclude that education will be truly effective only when it is specifically designed to meet the individual needs and interests of each student. One does not have to go very far to see that the students would benefit significantly from the education, which is especially designed for each of them.

One does not have go very far to see thatthe students would benefit significantly from the education, which isespecially designed for each of them.

Should education be specifically designed to meet the needs and interests of each student? And why? How can we make education truly effective? These complex questions have troubled educators for a long time. In someone's opinion, only by offering specifically designed education can we achieve the goal of teaching effectively. Generally speaking, I fundamentally agree with this perspective.(不错的开头,除了简单的SHOULD,还有WHY? HOW?

First of all, specifically designed education might be more likely to provide every student with exactly what he or she need(needs), and therefore the student(students) can benefit more from it. Confucius, the greatest educator in ancient China, ever pointed out that the best way to teach is to offer an individualized(individual,我查了下是individual, 比如individual education) quality education for every student, in other words, to teach students in accordance with their aptitudes. Actually, as a teacher, Confucius always tried to teach in this way. One day, a student came to ask him: "If I decide to do something, should I begin to do it immediately?" He answered: "Yes, of course." Next day, however, another student went to ask the same question but got a different answer: "No, of course not!" Why? That is because the first student was one of those who were always meticulous and often hesitated to act, while the second one was quite mindless and never think twice before his action. By giving them entirely different answers to the same question, Confucius educated them to identify their weakness and improved their characters. This case illustrates the point that individualized education is appropriate, for the reason that different students of different deficiencies need different educations.(很新的例子,赞一下)

Furthermore, offering an individualizedindividualquality education can meet interests and needs of some unique students and enable them to develop their inherent advantages. There are extraordinarily great number of outstanding people whose success is due to individualized education. Picasso, the most creative Spanish painter, who began to learn how to draw from his father, never received a general education. Mozart, the worldwide famous musician, started to compose when he was a child of 4, accepting no formal education(你这里说的是正式教育,而不管是不是specially designed都是正式教育的一种). Another typical example is Helen, a female writer, who lost the abilities of hearing, speaking and seeing at an early age. It is obvious that without the specialspecially designed education of her family teacher who taught her(容易指代不清,最好换掉)only student all heart and soulheart and soul就行了,没有all heart and soul 的说法), she would not become a prominent writer but only a painful patient even though she had a talent. The lesson we can draw from all these cases is that an individualized quality education might be helpful and efficient for students especially the unique ones.

Despite of these, we can not deny the wonderful advantage(advantages) of specifically designed education, which is seems to be somewhat idealistic.

On the basis of these analyses, I would conclude that education will be truly effective only when it is specifically designed to meet the individual needs and interests of each student. One does not have go very far to see that the students would benefit significantly from the education, which is especially designed for each of them

Should education be specifically designed to meet the needs and interests of each student? And why? How can we make education truly effective? 更好一些,逻辑性更强]These complex questions have troubled educators for a long time. In someone's opinion, only by offering specifically designed education can we achieve the goal of teaching Generally speaking, I fundamentally agree with this perspective.

First of all, specifically designed education might be more likely to provide every student with exactly what he or she need, and therefore the student can benefit more from it. Confucius, the greatest educator in ancient China, ever pointed out that the best way to teach is to offer an individualized quality education for every student, in other words, to teach students in accordance with their aptitudes.(很好的例子,尤其是“teach students in accordance with their aptitudes”,学习中) Actually, as a teacher, Confucius always tried to teach in this way. This case illustrates the point that individualized education is appropriate, for the reason that different students of different deficiencies(可以这样说吗?觉得of有些别扭,with好像好一些) need different educations.

Furthermore, offering an individualized quality education can meet interests and needs of some unique students and enable them to develop their inherent advantages. There are extraordinarily great number of outstanding people whose success is due to individualized education. Picasso, the most creative Spanish painter, who began to learn how to draw from his father, never received a general education. Mozart, the worldwide famous musician, started to compose when he was a child of 4, accepting no formal education. Another typical example is Helen, a female writer, who lost the abilities of hearing, speaking and seeing at an early age. It is obvious that without the special designed education of her family teacher who taught her only student all heart and soul(没看懂是什么意思), she would not become a prominent writer but only a painful patient even though sha(she) had a talent. The lesson we can draw from all these cases is that an individualized quality education might be helpful and efficient for students especially the unique ones.

Admittedly, general education, the common method of teaching, also can make a difference to students' lives. But it can not be the most efficient way. Meanwhile, specifically designed education sometimes might be unavailable for most of people, for the reason that in contemporary society each teacher has so many students that it seems impossible for him or her to know each of his or her students well, let alone teach each of them in different ways.(这个长句很是值得学习) Despite of these, we can not deny the wonderful advantage of specifically designed education, which is seems to be somewhat idealistic.

On the basis of these analyses, I would conclude that education will be truly effective only when it is specifically designed to meet the individual needs and interests of each student. One does not have go(?gone) very far to see that the students would benefit significantly from the education, which is especially designed for each of them.
