In the lecture, the professor completely disagree(s) with what states in the reading passage. She says many scientists didn't agree these three evidences to support the dinosaurs are endotherms. Therefore, she casts doubt on the reading material with three points.

To begin with, the professor pionts (points)out that even the dinosaur fossils were found in the polar places, it can not convince (一般都用被动,be convinced)that the dinosaurs are able to live in that extreme weather condition. Because those places where found the fossils were much warmer than today. Long time age(ago), the tempature (temperature)over there are warm enough to make sure the dinosaur (to)survive. On the contrary, the reading passage claims the fact that only find the fossil but there is not extra evidence to identify the weather condition that time. So the professor directly contradicts the reading's opinion.

In addition, according to the passage, the dinosaurs are the(the) endotherm due to the feature of underneath legs. However, the professor provides a different viewpoint about the function of this feature in dinosaurs. She says (maintains 会不会好点啊)that the underneath leg could contribute to supporting the heavy weight of dinosaur rather than runing. (running)Thus, there is another part where the professor refutes the reading material's point.

What's more,(最后一段,用finally 会不会更好) although the dinosaur has the haversian canals as well, it's unfair (uncertain)to assert the dinosaur is endotherms based on the reading's statements. The professor provides a reliable evidence to support her conclusion. In the(body of ) dinosaur, there are (is)also an organ, namely growth ring, which is a very important evidence to record the dinosaur's growth condition. In fact, scientists (have) found that when the dinosaur was in the cold weather condition, the growth of their (前面的dinosaur都是单数,这里突然说their 是不是不是很好啊)body decrease even stop according to the growth ring. However, Endotherms can still grow rapidly though the weather is very cold.

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement?
The best way to improve the quality of education is to increase teacher’s salaries


Nowadays, increasing number of people are discussing how can we improve the quality of education. Someone provides the opinion that increasing the teacher's salaries will make benefit for the improvement of education's quality. However, in my personal perspective, merely depending on change in teacher's salaries will not serve to solve the problem. We should focus on the way to motive students study( by) themselves.

If we only emphasize the teacher's character involved in the education,【 it might be not justifiable(要不是 might not be justifiable 要不是might be unjustifiable).】 【Actually people should have to(到底是应该还是不得不?) doubt whether the teacher indeed play(s) (a) role in determine the quality of education(这句话不是很明白写的用意,语意也翻译不顺)】. We know (that) learning process finally dominated by students themselves. Teacher just act as a minor role. Meanwhile, even if we admit that a good teacher is the most important prerequisite for a better education, another question would be casted doubt( is that): is there any other reason could help the teacher develop their abilities? Obviously, school can improve the teacher's specific abilities in the class and provide more opportunities for teacher(s) to enrich their prospects.【 By this way, the students could learn more than only from textbook. So the teacher's salaries will be unnecessarily connected with the quality of education.(怎么就学校提供给老师这么多机会让学生能学到更多,然后猛然来个结论说薪水跟教学质量没必然联系。 没逻辑关系啊~)】

However, someone would remain the question:【 so,(去掉)】 what can affect the quality of education? As far as I'm concerned, we should 【motive(stimulate)】 the student with study enthusiasm. In that case, the quality of education would be improved naturally. On one hand, our education systems need to guide children found their interest(s). Interest(s) could lead people to take an optimistic viewpoint and continued action to accomplish their goal. For example, instead of constricting the fixed major that the student choose right after the college entrance exam, more and more universities set up various kinds of basic science classes for freshman in the first semester and offer them the second chance to choose their majors according to their interest. I think this decision is a giant【 step(leap)】 and 【would(will)】 result in a far-reaching influence on the whole education system. Since the students have more opportunities to be exposed to different fields, they could find their own interest and devote more time in their favorite subjects.

On the other hand, a positive competition among the class will be beneficial for a better quality of education as well. Lots of means are available to forming the competition in class, including the grade of course. When students feel a great pressure from the outstanding student, and the comparison encourage them to communicate with teacher or other students and try to solve the problems( they) met in class.  So the grade not only evokes enthusiasm of learning but also creates an actively studying environment. This measure is more 【reliable(feasible)】 than the change teacher’s income. A positive competition may also plays a significant role in improving the quality of education.

To sum up, people always be blamed by one sides and ignore other essential factors( which) could determine the results as well. Then, the improvement of education quality ultimately relay on the way to cultivate the interest and( stimulate )positive competition among student(s) rather than the simple one based on improving teacher’s income.

As far as I'm concerned, we should motive (motivate) the student with study enthusiasm 改成 to study with enthusiasm. In that case, the quality of education would be improved naturally. On one hand, our education systems need to guide children found (to find) their interest. Interest could lead people to take an optimistic viewpoint and continued action to accomplish their goal. (Interest would assist people to accomplish their goal in taking an optimistic viewpoint and ensuing action 感觉这么说是不是更好点) For example, instead of constricting 这个不加挺好 the fixed major that the (去掉) students ^have to choose right after the college entrance exam, more and more universities set up various kinds of basic science classes for freshman in the first semester and offer them the (a) second chance to choose (select) their majors according to their interests. I think this decision is a giant step and would result in a far-reaching influence on the whole education system. Since the students have more opportunities to be exposed to different fields, they could find their own interest and devote more time in their favorite subjects.

On the other hand, a positive competition among (in) the class will be beneficial for a better quality of education as well. Lots of means are available to forming (原型) the competition in class, including the grade of course. When students feel a great pressure from the outstanding student, and (去掉) the comparison ^will encourage them to communicate with ^(their) teachers or other students and try to solve the problems ^they(我不知道不加行不行,就是读起来感觉加上更好) met in class.
So the grade not only evokes enthusiasm of learning but also creates an actively studying environment.
This measure is more reliable than the change (raise, change
可变高可变低) teacher’s income. (你只说了grade 好,但没有和提高income比较哪个更好就说他更reliable 是不是有点问题) A positive competition may also play a significant role in improving the quality of education.

To sum up, people always be blamed by one sides and ignore other essential factors could determine the results as well. (这句话没看懂,是人们总是被责备怎么样而且忽视其他因素 还是 人们总责怪一面而忽视其他因素) Then, the improvement of education quality ultimately relay (rely) on the way to cultivate the interest and positive competition among students rather than the simple one (这几个词加上就有种感觉你证明的事提高工资也可以,但不是唯一的方法。而不是证明提高工资不是最好的方法) based on improving teacher’s income.

文章结构

第二段 学习是主要由学生自己把握的, 老师的作用是次要的。 没有给出理由证明老师的作用为什么就是次要的。 (名师出高徒说明老师的作用还是很大的。)
第三段和第四段说 提高教育质量 要提高学生的学习激情。 Interest 正当压力都可以。

我感觉第三四段提出的方法不和提高工资进行比较证明提高工资没他俩好那么第一段就应该说明提高工资对提高教育质量完全没有用才行。只要有点用就需要比较才能得出谁最好。

以前给自己改只会挑挑语法错误,别的就不知道改啥了。语法错误不多改不几个地方让人感觉很敷衍。使劲挑也就挑出这些东西了。一起加油。
