Which of the following statements can be inferred那个为什么选A啊? 我觉得C倒有点依据,因为文章最后一句说during and after the dislocations of slavery就是在slavery之后啊。

 Scholars often fail to see that music
  played an important role in the
  preservation of African culture in the
  United States. They correctly note
(5) that slavery stripped some cultural
  elements from Black people-their
  political and economic systems-but
  they underestimate the significance of
  music in sustaining other African
(10) cultural values. African music,
  unlike the music of some other
  cultures, was based on a total vision
  of life in which music was not an
  isolated social domain. In African
(15) culture music was pervasive, serving
  not only religion, but all phases of
  life, including birth, death, work, and
  play. The methods that a community
  devises to perpetuate itself come into
(20) being to preserve aspects of the
  cultural legacy that that community
  perceives as essential. Music, like
  art in general, was so inextricably a
  part of African culture that it became
(25) a crucial means of preserving the
  culture during and after the
  dislocations of slavery.

题目Which of the following statements
concerning the function of African music
can be inferred from the passage?
It preserved cultural values because it
was thoroughly integrated into the lives
of the people.
It was more important in the development
of African religious life than in other
areas of culture.
It was developed in response to the loss
of political and economic systems.
Its pervasiveness in African culture
hindered its effectiveness in minimizing
the impact of slavery.
Its isolation from the economic domains
of life enabled it to survive the
destructive impact of slavery.

1. words 2 new lists 本想完成第三个的光荣目标,没有时间了最后。明天争取;复习了1 list+听词汇串讲;
2.阅读:看了花儿day8-9的内容,做了两篇长阅读,一篇短。长的8错3.。很惨淡,有些选项琢磨了半天还是没有找到对应点,发现gre的阅读也越来越tricky了;另一个长阅读7错2.。。很多还是掉进了题目设计的陷阱,虽然这篇文章读懂了;短文章的题目比较鬼。。4错2.。gre的阅读也都是有规律可行的,一点点来吧,熟能生巧;
3.做了10pages的数学,作为调剂;

Reading:《

长阅读No.9-3-1 7错2,短阅读No.9-6-1 4错1;

长阅读92-4-4 7错2,短阅读92-10-2 4错1;
