children 是否是只要玩和学习而不用做任何的家务？

My writting:

In order for their children to focus on study and get good scores in schools, many a parent chooses not to require their children to participate in housework. Sometimes, it seems effective in a short term. However, more and more parents have realized that it will have great unfavorable effects on children’s growth in a long run. In my viewpoint, certain housework would definitely be necessary for children’s growth, and even benefit their school learning.

First and most importantly, doing some housework helps children to learn basic living skills, such as washing clothes and dish pasts, cleaning the room, cooking meals or doing some gardening. These skills are fundamental for people to live independently. When children are grown up, they have to leave their parents and start their own lives, for example, further their studies in places far from their parents, it would be easier for them to be familiar with new lives and more concentrate on study if they have learned how to take care of their own everyday lives. Later when they have their own families and children, these skills will be very useful to make families happy.

While someone would argue that children can learn these basic skills when they begin to start live independently and really need to use them. I would like to say that the best time for a person to learn is when they are young. It’s no exception in housework skill learning. Having children to do some housework will teach them not only specific skills but also a real love for work. Only they feel that kind of real love, they can enjoy doing housework, instead of feeling kind of “I have to do”. A positive and diligent attitude in life would ultimately benefit their study.

Second, doing some housework will help children to learn well in school. Some experimental subjects require not only using the head but also using the hands. Doing well in housework helps students enhances their ability in using hands. Moreover, according to scientific researches, practices of hands using will also help improvin the development of children’s brain, which in turn beneficial to children’s school learning.

In addition, doing some housework has function of moral education. In doing trivial and repeated houseworks, children could have the chances to experience the hardness of their parents, and then are more grateful for their parents scarification for their growing. Plus, doing housework together with family members can help to add love and happiness of the family. Imaging how happy we could be to gather together in the kitchen, preparing for a delicious launch and having a nice talk with each other. These occasions are definitely among the best chances for children to form a deep love for their family members and finally that kind of love would be impetus for them to love the whole mankind. This kind of love for all human being is the ultimate goal of education.

In a word, having children to do some homework instead of focusing on learning is very important and necessary for their growth. In order for children to be well-educated, housework should be an indispensable part of children’s lives besides learning and playing.
