With the development of the science and technology,more affairs introduced into human life which accompanied with more knowledgeaccumulated caused that even normal life seems more complicated than everbefore. While no individual have ability to grasp and skillfully apply everyaspect of knowledge existed in one's normal life, I fundamentally agree withthe speaker's statement that making things simple comes to be an important procedurethat require effort and courage. Lend a credence to the statement from technology area.A general adult from a normal city in modern world shall at least need threekinds of products to work and live: car, phone, PC. However, it is theengineers who devise and make those complicated products while few customerscan understand how the products work. As customers, understanding how tocontrol the interface of the modern tools is the only thing they need to usethem without knowing how they are working inside. As we know, engineers willcost lots of effort to realize the simplification, thus in which people whobeyond the technology area can use the tools conveniently. Moreover, considering the function of the government,one of the functions is providing a simple and convenience life to thecitizens. The more efficient the government is, the easier life their citizenswill live. Just imagine a dying people can not find a rapid way to get hismedical fee until he die, a student can not find a easy way to go to school, a compliantcan not litigate when he face a trickiness lawsuit? Government hasresponsibility to make citizen's life easy and simple though the simplificationcould be difficult and challenging, that is the way to make their life inorder. Nonetheless, not all the proceduring of simplifyrequires effort and courage, in opposite, the procedure can also be easy andgutless. For example, an irresponsible teacher will treat all the student as asame simple standard without considering the different characteristics of them,an idle engineer will devise the products with same principle and style withoutcreation, and so forth. Those kinds of simplication are not what we need whichcan not bring anything good to our society, instead, those simplification iswhat we shall abandon. In sum, everyone have ability to make things biggerand more complex. Complication can be realized by adding things some newelement, exchange substance other environment or even repeating. In reverse, tosome degree, simplication seems much more difficult to realize which willfinally bring people a simple, easy and convenient life. However, we need totake a more objective view to the simplication. A simplication whoserealization need effort and courage, whose aim is benefit for society is whatwe advocate, otherwise, a simplication whose property is irresponsibility andidleness will definitely rejected. |
