来晚了队都组满了，怎么办？

我实在是后知后觉，我是12月末考机试，之前都是孤军奋战，现在才发现原来这里有这样一个大家庭，我也想进个改作文互助小组，可是貌似12月份考的小组都已经满人了，而且我现在组织小组会不会已经晚了，估计都没有人来跟我组小组了。求各位热心的同学，帮我看看该怎么办？我英语水平一般，六级550。大概自己准备了1个月了，主要是觉得自己思想和论据比较欠缺。下面我贴个自己写过的文章大家评价一下。我保证自己有决心有毅力有时间，也愿意跟大家互帮互助，可是现在不太摸得着门路。求帮助。

The speaker asserts that money spent on research is almost a good investment, even when the results of that research are controversial. While I concede that money spent on proper  research is rewarding and can be a good investment, the speaker overlooks some unworthy researches.
In the first respect, I agree with the speaker that most researches are rewarding and it is a good investment to spend money on them. This is related to the nature of research, which springs from the ungratified appetite for knowledge and the willing to seek for solutions for enduring problems of society. Generally speaking, scientific achievements as a result of research have made great contributions to the well-being of human beings. Consider, for example, the study of satellite communications makes our life more convenient and comfortable. We can watch TV to know the events happened in other cities or  even other nations. We can also talk with our friends and family thousands of miles away. Consider another example of medical researches to find new medicines or cures for some puzzled physical problems such as cancer and AIDS. Those researches are all good investments because they can bring the society with solutions of the enduring problems.
However, the speaker overstate the importance of researches whose results are controversial. First of all, before we put up a certain research, no one of us would know the results, then how could we know if the result controversial or not? And if we know the results of a research in advance, it would not be called a "research". This is defined by the nature of research.
Secondly,I have a contention with the speaker's viewpoint when the intention of a certain research is too vague. Most significant research can have a high opportunity cost-in the terms of where the money can be spent to solve the more emergent problems of the society which doesn't spent as much money. In the ancient of China, there have been some emperors putting money into alchemy to make out some medicine that can help them live forever. The results of that research is nothing but adding to the tax burdens on the demos. Most people would agree with me that the money is better spending on helping the demos get rid of starving and poor.
Therefore, the purpose of research should be carefully and responsibly guided. Before we put something into research, calculate the opportunity cost first, estimate whether it is rewarding to do so. Not all money spent on all research is money good spent. In sum, we should be caution to spend money on certain research, especially when the purpose is vague or unclear.
