No field of study can advance significantly unless outsiders bring their knowledge and experience to that field of study.

The speaker claims that knowledge and experience from outsiders from another field is the only way that field of study can significantly promote. While I concede the speaker’s assertion has considerable merit with respect to the area of advance science, I take exception with the claim when it come to the basic subject.

There is an old saying that the stone of other hill may be use to polish gem. Bringing in knowledge from another field is an overriding concern in science today. The technology of the world advance at an incredible speed and the demarcation of study are less distinct than before.
A new noun called interdisciplinary –that is, cross traditional boundaries between academic disciplines or schools of thought
as new needs and professions have emerged- lead the era of progress . general relativity that was constructed by Albert Einstein provide the foundation of reputation in academic circles for him
. Had the thesis lake the mathematical tool from Riemann .further discovery such as quantum theory and string theory will never devise .similarly, X-ray created by Roentgen show an permanent mark in medical imaging and widely use for medical perspective like identify bone structure and detect some disease processing in soft tissue .therefore, reference and learning cross disciplines efficiency enhance the scientific level .

On the other hand ,the speakers claim amounts to overstatement when it come to some subject not in popular demand . For instance , one plus one equal two is no need for archaeologist find their way to detect fossil dinosaur . and Newton’s law is futile historical research . thinking about that if all of study will include partially study of all areas , and even an common sense can be explain and discuss insightful. How complicate and controversy our life will be .

In sum ,learn from other field possibility break though a technical problem and acquire a outstanding achievement when it come to most of advance science . Yet , in some areas of relatively neglected , communication though these field almost nonexist.
