Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Peopleare now easier to become educated than in the past.


When it comes to education, more and morepeople tend to deem that the society today provides us a much easier situationfor education acquirement. Never will I oppose this statement, especially somefactors, like science and technology, contemporary policy as well as modernlife level, taken into consideration.

To begin with, no one could deny that thehigh speed of science and technology development is bringing our education intoa promising stage. If the word “study” rushes into our mind, what we reflect isno long the old stereotype, such as teachers, students, classes and so forth. Thanksto the popularization of internet, based on which we could have more opportunitiesto attend classes we won’t join before. One telling example is a hot issue ofopening classes holding in many famous universities, like Harvard, Yale, andStanford. If it were not for the prevalent of internet, seldom would we get thechance of hearing the teaching from such fame professors. On the other hand,the development of computer switches our fashion of study and research. Considerthat, two decades before, when we need to go deep into some studies, libraryperhaps was the best choice. We went there and checked book shelves one by onemerely searching for the books in need. How time consumed! In the recent years,we just need to stay at home and click our mouse, then enter the library’s homepage on internet, the book we need could present in the screen. Better yet,most of them are free for reading. As a matter of fact, these examples aredenying enumeration.

What’s more, the social policy regarding oneducation these years makes the study becoming easier than ever before. In somedeveloped countries, children there have legitimate rights for free educationuntil they graduate from college. In china, many girls did not have theopportunity for attending to school in the past years, no matter how yearningand eager they are, because of the old stereotype of “the refined women arethose without any knowledge” or the impoverished life. Owning to the advancedsocial policy, our country implements nine-year compulsory education, not onlythe young boys but also girls, regardless of life level, they could enjoy thefree education up to the end of junior high school, which is impossible andbeyond belief in the past.

In addition, the modern life and comparablepeace social occasion bring us a much balanced life, hence the citizens arehardly worried about starvation or shortage of clothing and prone to drivethemselves in acquiring knowledge. Image that, if a person would not meet hisdaily need in the normal level of food and cloth, how shall he have the energyfor perusing education?
While, that itis in the past years. Besides that, the foods today are much more hygienic andnutrient than ever before. Our daily foods, like untainted mineral water,sterilized skim milk, refined cereal with compound vitamin, which are all necessitiesfor nimble and wise brain. Only by such intelligent brain, can we obtain the knowledgebetter.

To sum up, from the points discussed above,I totally agree with the statement that people are now easier to becomeeducated than in the past. Not only that based on current societal and economicstabilization, I believe, someday, every citizen would be educated.
