New Technologies这道题我一开始也做错了 选的dismissing. 后来明白了 这道题难就难在逻辑跳跃了一步。6楼的解释不正确，那里不是关键。这题的逻辑是，”新技术都是一开始模仿从前的（技术），然后在做出改变，从而改变世界。“看到了吗，有个新技术自己改变的逻辑链，在第一句里被省去了，所以跳跃让人摸不着头脑。但是在后面例子中解释了：能源公司发现电力不用像蒸汽机那样把机器集中在能源附近。 这里又跳了一步逻辑，这说明了电力刚出现的时候是像蒸汽那样把能源集中在机器附近的，后来有人认识到了，所以才改了，这样例子和前面论点的逻辑就说得通了。后面又说，电脑还处在蒸汽时代，说明电脑和以前技术的不同之处还没有完全被发现，不是么，你看他结尾就说“所有潜能还未被挖掘”。所以第一空后面begin by___只能填mimicking.  这题跳了两个逻辑，相当难了，考试做不对无所谓了。

process过程 如果用transmit根本说不通 怎么把电力传递给过程啊？如果电力被传递，肯定是传递给某个实物啊。

第一道题，因为之前说“did not need to cluster their machinery around the power source”, 所以，电可以被传输到公司去， power could be transmitted to their processes, power 指的是 电，their 指的是companies。

因为能够transmit power，所以不用把机器像以前那样集中起来，incorporate没有这个意思
