Which do prefer to live, a small town or a big city? Even to this trivial issue, I believe different people have varied answers, for each would have its advantages and disadvantages. Obviously, it is a little bit hasty to say which one is superior to the other. As for me, I have distinct choices depending on different life periods.

   As a young person now, I definitely desire to live in big city. It involves three major reasons. To begin with, there is a wider choice of options available in a big city. Since a variety of international companies’ headquarters are settled there, there are many job opportunities available, which offer a satisfying salary and a good platform for developing. Secondly, I am always crazy at the rapid life in big city, which is effective and efficient. After all, the period of youth is limited as well as extremely precious, so we are obliged to do our utmost to make our life count. Big cities just create a pretty good atmosphere for the young to struggle for and earn themselves a success. Thirdly, there is no doubt to say the living conditions in big cities are beyond compare. Such as the most modern cinema, the advanced theatre, the  most fashionable show, the most savory food and the most convenience transportation etc, nowhere could provide all these but big cities. So right now, I can not deny that the benefits of living in a big city outweigh its drawbacks, also, are far more attractive than living in a small town.

   However, one day, I will step into the group of advanced age. At that time, for the same question, living in a small town seems to be my preference, because I concern the following two points more. The first is free of various pollutions. Nowadays, almost all the big cities are troubled by severe environmental problems, such as air pollution, noise pollution, river pollution and etc. But in a small town, I could enjoy the fresh air, the twittering of birds, the beautiful sunshine. The second is relaxed lifestyle. Since the lifestyle in the small town tend to be slow, there are plenty of time to taste and savor every moment of my life.

   To sum it up, I have different options in different life periods.

总体来说，文章思路很清晰，从不同的年龄阶段来选在生活的地方，主题鲜明。
但有些观点说出来后缺少具体的例证支撑，可以进一步改进，加油！
