感谢论坛里好多热心的G友给出的破题思路，正是这些让我慢慢找到了开始的感觉，新手所以一下子也报不出那些好人们的名字，借此机会说声谢谢，也谢谢在此楼里提出建议的筒子们~

Issue 127"Facts are stubborn things. They cannot be altered by our wishes, our inclinations, or the dictates of our passions."
As what stated by the speaker, facts are stubborn things, things can not be altered by our wishes, our inclinations, or the dictates of our passion. Apparently, it seems attempting to agree with the speaker, ignoring the accurate definition of “facts”. I come to point out that the speaker has an ambiguous of this concept after my scrutiny of the issue, therefore my opinion over this issue is that facts, which are learnt by human being through arduous exploration generations by generations,can be altered, to some degree, by our wishes, inclinations and dictates of passion.

Modern philosophy has focused on the study of language, for language itself reflects implications about value, religion and some other profound meanings. In this issue, we can get a more clear comprehence after deeply understand the word “fact”. Then what is a “fact”? If fact is the intrinsic logic behind complex phenomenons in this universe, then it is true to consider it stubborn and unaltered by we human beings, the same as the assertion given by the speaker. Nevertheless, what will things change if we consider facts as existing kowledge in the scope of what we are able to learn and in the technical condition of how we can explore?

Suppose nature disenables us to change these facts, facts limited to the concept I have proposed in last paragraph. Then efforts, dedicated to all fields, including biology, physics, chemistry and even in some social sciences, seems to finally turn out vain. Obviously, this conclusion is too rediculous and pale in front of those scientific milestones. For instance, the great advancement of clone technology gives us a vivid illustration. It was regarded as a “fact” that there could not be two biological entities characterized with exactly the same biological features. Yet, scientists has broken this fact and succeded in cloning a sheep, which was basically motivated by creating a solid foudation to solve some diseases unalbe cured by current technology. Besides, there are numerous other examples to prove the possibility to alter those existing facts in all kinds of fields, such as the introduction of macroeconomic policies by Keynes in 1930s. All these cases support strongly the opposite idea stated in the assertion.
However, it is not my purpose to enlarge the capability of humans relative to nature, where basic and stubborn laws and logics lie. According to a description of God written by Einstein, one of the greatest scientists, whose duty is to reveal unknown facts and to break some existing ones, he regarded God as all intrinsic and elegant laws and logics. He pointed out what we human beings can do, and can only do, is exploring to learn these laws and following them. These provoking words offer us a correct attitude over this issue, while as to how to identify eternal and changeable facts, that goes beyond our concern in this article.

It might be based on the cannotation of facts in universe the speaker gives this assertion, an connotation rudely ruled out more possibility of scientific and social fruits achieved by human beings. While combining two different connotation of “facts”, fortunately, we are able to change some existing knowledge through perpetual dedication to promote human progress, only in the premise of following intrinsic laws of nature.
