Many linguists predict that by the year 2100 only half of the languages we are using today will still be spoken, which means that one language dies every 12 days. Therefore, in my view, it is high time for governments to take measures to stop these lesser-known languages from becoming extinct. I based my view on(my view is based on?) two reasons. First, any indigenous language is a national treasure, which, once disappears, will never come back no matter how much money we are willing to pay. Second, the government's intervening to preserve these languages will make great differences, since the power and leading function it has.
Admittedly, indigenous languages play a significant role on convey(conveying) the culture. Entire histories maybe(may be) lost as a result of the death of their native languages. the Female's script, which is officially revealed to the whole world by professor Gong at WuHan university, is a unique and world-only language that is spoken, written, and heritaged(inherited? heritage是名词) by females. Luckly(Fortunately?), the special and mysterious language, which is famous for its beautiful and fantastic looking, is still alive in certain area in HuNan province of China. Thus, people can still enjoy the sounds, rhythms, and poetry of Female script and get a distinct understanding of it. Unfortunately, lots of the symbols, which was caved in the wall in the pyramids, are still not precisely figured out because of the extinct(extinction?) of ancient Egypt's language.
Having an insights(insight?) into all aspect(aspects) which may result in the language's extinct, we may find that government seems to be a crucial one. In many cases, government's policies contribute to the deminution(diminution) or death of many minority languages by confining their use. For example, the United States in the 19th and early 20th centuries often took children from their Native American parents to boarding school, (and) they were forced to learn English. Children from different tribes (are) compulsorily assembled, so English will be their only language. Only half of the 300 indigenous languages spoken in North America when Europeans first arrive are still in use.
From what discussed above, we may safely draw the conclusion that government's intervention of preserving the world's lesser-known languages from becoming extinct is definitely and badly needed.
