Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? The next twenty years from now on, students will not use printed books any more. Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.08/04/07

With the introduction of computers to the modern world, the printed books which are the model of traditional medium are increasingly being challenged. Paper books often face the competition with electronic books which are showed on the screen. There raises a hot debate that whether paper books will disappear in the next twenty years. That means whether they will be replaced by the electronic ones. With all aspects carefully considered, I can safely draw the conclusion that printed books will lose their market in the future.

First and foremost, with equipped with computers, electronic books would run more efficiently than ever. We may get more useful and rapid information due to the help of computers. Just click some bottoms or type in a key word, we can easily get our desired results, which if done with books, may cost a long time scanning among hundreds of related books. A particular case in point is that a researcher may feel more convenient to find reference information in his field than in paper books. In addition, by the help of developed media technology like music and VCR, we can acquire a concrete image as well as lots of fun.

Moreover, instead of the high price of printed books, it is almost free for us to get electronic ones. Especially for the novels and magazines, updated quickly and just read for one time, it would cost a plenty of money for that kind of relaxation. I had used to pay a lot for that before I met Internet. Furthermore, the more paper books exist, the more trees are cut down. Printed books are at the very cost of our environment.

However, printed books definitely remain their own usage and convenience. They provide us with a room for taking notes. They are more easily to be reserved comparing with the electronic ones. But it can not interfere with the more choices of advanced books. From where I stand, owing to the rapid development of our society, printed books will leave the stage in the next few decades. Electronic books will take place of paper books with their unprecedented advantages.

又有很久没写拉~~凑合着看看哈~~

With the introduction of computers to the modern world, the printed books which are the model of traditional medium are increasingly being challenged(应该不是 printed book 变化了,而是它的地位变化了,觉得这样写好一点 with the introduction of computers to the modern world,  printed books, which represent the tradition medium ,can hardly keep their role in ouir life.)Paper books often face the competition with electronic books which are showed on the screen. There raises a hot debate that whether paper books will disappear in the next twenty years. That means whether they will be replaced by the electronic ones. With all aspects carefully considered, I can safely draw the conclusion that printed books will lose their market in the future., Y0 G& B- O: x, K3 p9 ]怪怪的

First and foremost, with equipped with computers(可以这样用吗,当我们装备了电脑的时候?), electronic books would run more efficiently than ever. We may get more useful and rapid information due to the help of computers. Just click some bottoms or type in a key word(keyboard?), we can easily get our desired results(?), which if done with books, may cost a long time scanning among hundreds of related books.(感觉这里表述有一点点啰嗦) A particular case in point is that a researcher may feel more convenient to find reference information in his field(through computer) than in paper books. In addition, by(by or with?) the help of developed media technology like music and VCR, we can acquire a concrete image as well as lots of fun(这两个并列的有点奇怪,具体的图像和快乐?).: A0 J: r# @# V6 v) X
